*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 11*
* DATE: 11TH JANUARY, 2026*
*TOPIC: PRAYER: THE PATHWAY OF HUMILITY AND HEALING*
*ANCHOR TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 7:14*
*“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face… then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”*
*Devotional Message*
Prayer is an act of humility. It is a declaration of our insufficiency before God and an invitation for Him to step into our situations. Scripture is clear that it is those who humble themselves, seek God, and pray that He responds to with healing.
The woman with the issue of blood had exhausted every human option. For many years she sought solutions from physicians, yet her condition remained the same. When she encountered Jesus in humility and faith, her bleeding stopped instantly. What human effort could not fix, divine intervention accomplished in a moment.
Many today are bleeding—not physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Some are wounded by betrayal from colleagues at work, dishonesty from business partners, injustices from siblings, parents, or relatives. While counseling may help, there are wounds that only God can heal. Such healing comes when we humble ourselves before Him in prayer and allow Him to take control of the situation.
Prayer is the language of the spirit and the portal through which God works on our hearts. It heals us from within so that our pain is not transferred to innocent people around us—colleagues, friends, spouses, or children. God gives grace and healing to the humble, but resistance to prayer keeps wounds open and unresolved.
Child of God, make a decision today to humble yourself and seek the Lord in prayer. When we lower ourselves before Him, He lifts us, heals us, and restores us. Grace flows where humility is practiced.
*Prayer*
Father, I humble myself before You today, acknowledging that I need You. Heal the wounds in my heart that no man can fix. Take over every situation that has caused pain, betrayal, and disappointment. Restore my heart and fill me with Your grace, that I may walk in freedom and wholeness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
