THE PILGRIMS GUIDE WEDNESDAY JANUARY 14, 2026 CERTAINTY OF GOD'S WORD A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Then the king said to the man of God, 'Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward.' But the man of God said to the king, 'If you were to give me half your house, I would not go in with you; nor would I eat bread nor drink water in this place. For so it was commanded me by the word of the LORD, saying, You shall not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way you came.’” 1 Kings 13:7-9 NKJV. Billy Graham once said that ‘Confidentiality is the essence of being trusted.’ If God finds you worthy of His trust with some assignments, it is proper that you honour Him by keeping such confidential. Flippancy is not a spiritual gift, and should not be deployed in your walk and work with God. Child of God, it is not everything God tells you that you are to share everywhere and to everybody, some are primarily for your information, and then to quietly act on them without making undue publicity out of them. Don't forget that it is not about you, but for His glory and fame.  Take a look at the sad end of this Prophet that did such great a miracle.
