THE GRACE OF REDEMPTION

A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Romans 3:23-24 NKJV.

This grace of redemption is offered freely to as many as those who will accept it and become the followers Christ Jesus, and therefore, children of God. While we endeavour to follow God’s demands upon our lives, and honour Him in our actions and inactions, there are times when we will be found missing the marks of God's commands, and therefore fall short of God's glory, and cannot be justified, but condemned by the law.

God in His mercy has given us another opportunity to be reconciled to Him by faith, through the benefits of the redemption that Jesus sacrificial and vicarious death on the execution stake at Calvary has wrought for us. We have the good option to accept this gift of redemption, by grace, and follow the LORD Jesus throughout our life, and become justified - 'just-as-if-I'd-never-sinned.’

PRAYER BULLETS:

LORD Jesus, empower me completely to fully embrace Your redemptive grace that justifies penitent sinner as me.

FURTHER READING:

Psalm 111:6-9; Isaiah 44:21-23; Galatians 3:13-14; Romans 3:21-26; 6:23.
