DISTRACTION AND FRUITFUL SEASONS

All the good fruit in your life is from those few seasons where you were not distracted. You’ve had those times where you read your Bible back-to-back, where you felt like if Jesus were on earth, you would be one of the twelve. Then that season disappeared, and you look for it again, asking, “God, am I still your child?”

You don’t need to be a raving sinner to know the devil works day and night to distract us. Because the little time you spend with God, even though you’re weak, He works with it.

Have you ever prayed for someone and they got well—and you were more shocked than the person healed? They told you, “I’m fine now,” and you said, “Are you sure? Go to the hospital.” But the person remained fine for weeks.

Then you realize this is how God works with everyone He uses. The key is not your ability. The key is simple: be available when He sends you.
Shalom!
