Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Good morning and praise God.I hope you are having a great morning. Let's share about being teachable. Teach means to help someone learn something by giving them information about it.Teachabe means capable of being taught. In our verse today, David prays that God may teach Him to do His will. He want to be taught by God so that he may be led by Him. Do you see the love David has for God? There many who hates lessons especially when they are not easy. Many want to love by their limited information even about God! This opens them a door to living in ignorance. Ignorance is the like opposite of teaching, it is defined as lack of knowledge or information. It opens a person to making decisions that are bad and ones that displeases God. When you seat and learn from God as we can from David, God teaches you and you get to make decisions that are informed and one that makes God happy about you. Remember that God is our eternal loving Father! He is happy when you're learning lessons in life and applying that knowledge to better your life. He was pleased by David and so He will to you. He teaches you through experiences, through His Word and so many other ways but you must be teachable and not ignorant.Your heart must be open to God always and your mind attentive so that you don't end up complaining in the classroom of God but rather learn and gain knowledge and wisdom to make good decisions in your life and know God better.
