THE PILGRIMS GUIDE FRIDAY JANUARY 30, 2026   THE JOY OF DELIGHTING IN THE LORD A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4 ESV 'Delight' which among others, means ‘to gain satisfaction, great pleasure, and happiness.’ is a glorious Bible word that is so focal to the believer’s experience in  following the LORD Jesus, which was never meant to be cumbersome. Until you have experienced the delight in knowing and following the LORD, you will be missing out on the essentials of vital relationship with Him, a little part of which is to have Him grant you the desires of your heart.  Discovering that He delights in you also (by giving you your heart's desires) is simply breathtaking, and should not be taken for granted also.  Will you dare to delight yourself in Him?  PRAYER BULLETS: ABBA Father, enable me by Your Spirit to take more delight in You. Engrace me to stay within the ambits of Your love for me and not lose sight of Your benefits.  FURTHER READING: 1 Chronicles 16:7-36; Psalm 16:8; John 11:1; Psalm 119:105; Exodus 33:14; Hebrews 11:6. _________________________________________ ©️ Amaobi Nwachukwu 2026.
