*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 30* *📅 DATE: 30TH JANUARY, 2026* *TOPIC: GRACE THAT SUSTAINS IN SEASONS OF TESTING* *ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 (NKJV)* *“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”* *Devotional Message* When Job was afflicted by the devil, he deeply desired a way out of his suffering. Yet God did not immediately remove him from that season. It was a divinely permitted time where Job’s faith, confidence, and trust in God were being tested and refined. Similarly, Apostle Paul reveals that he prayed earnestly for the thorn in his flesh to be taken away. Instead of removal, God responded with assurance: “My grace is sufficient for you.” This teaches us a powerful truth—there are seasons when God does not deliver us from the trial, but sustains us through it by His grace. In seasons of training and testing, although we may cry out for deliverance, God sometimes chooses not to take us out. Rather, He supplies grace that enables endurance, transformation, and growth. Such seasons are not meant to destroy us but to refine us. Apostle James reminds us that fiery trials are designed to purify our character—dealing with hidden pride, impatience, anger, and unseen weaknesses—so that we may not bring shame to the Kingdom of God. These seasons, though painful, are blessings in disguise. They prepare us for destiny, strengthen our inner man, and make us vessels fit for greater responsibility. Instead of only praying for escape, we must learn to pray for grace—the grace to endure, to remain faithful, and to emerge better than we entered. Moreover, after coming through such seasons, God positions us as beacons of hope to others. Our testimony becomes encouragement to those who are on the verge of giving up. Through our experience, they are reminded that God is faithful, loving, and intentional—never desiring His children to fail or fall short of destiny. Indeed, divine training is necessary. What God is forming in us during the trial is often more valuable than what we are praying to escape from. *Prayer* Heavenly Father,I thank You for Your sufficient grace in every season of my life. Help me to trust You even when You do not immediately remove me from trials. Give me grace to endure, wisdom to learn, and humility to allow You to refine my character. Let every season of testing produce maturity, strength, and Christlikeness in me. May my life become a testimony that encourages others to remain steadfast in You.
