Good morning and praise God.I hope you are having a great day. Next year our country will hold its national elections. I am reminded that we must pray rather than just wait or listen to the aspiring leaders. Our verses today reminds us that we should do this so that we may lead tranquil and quiet loves in all godliness and dignity which is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior. It is more of our sake and not the leaders' sake, it is for our own peace! It is not the will of God that we experience instabilities, bad economy, wars, displacement and all other bad things that happens due to bad leaders. God therefore call us to use the most powerful tool to curb all this. The Bible gives us many instances where people prayed and great things happened. I believe that you too have a testimony of a time you prayed and God did answer you. It is high time we go to the mountain like Jesus instead of waiting until when it is too late. Jesus when He was about to be arrested prayed deeply and wept. He at last prayer that God will happen and not His own will. That was powerful and we can do the same.
