THROWBACK THURSDAY - With the Super Bowl coming up, I recall a couple of times in late 1998 when some friends and me got to hang out at the Minnesota Vikings’ stadium when it wasn’t open to the general public. The father of a friend of mine worked at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. I roller-skated around the hallways and attempted field goals on the field. The best I got with the latter was a 20-yarder. The Metrodome was demolished after the 2013 NFL season.
