THE PILGRIMS GUIDE   SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8, 2026  HE RESTORES MY SOUL A WORD FROM THE WORD: "He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake." Psalm 23:3 NKJV.  Restoration is a process and an act of reversing a depleted freshness or blessing to the original state.  Several years back I had the opportunity to run in an exhibition mini-marathon used to raise funds in aid of some malnourished children in a drought ravaged country. After the covering the 10 kilometres, my energy was completely sapped, I was tired, breathing fast and gasping for air. To be restored and refreshed, I was exposed to fresh air, and given glucose powder dissolved in water. In the normal race of life, circumstances and situations often deplete a man's blessings, hopes and aspirations; even dreams can be delayed and threatened, but don't give up because your restoration will come. God is your Restorer. He is ever mindful of His children, and is just in His dealings with man. In Psalm 23, David, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit writes that God is the Restorer of souls.  No matter what you're going through, it might seem answers to prayers are not forthcoming as quick as you want them, or that all doors are closed. Hope of solution may seem to be fading away; don't be weary. Those who truly wait on God don't waste away in His presence.  Recall Job who got double of everything he ever lost, trust in God, the Restorer; He will restore you to the end. Your latter end will supersede the misfortune of the former years. PRAYER BULLETS: ABBA Father, I thank You for who you are, the Restorer.
