THE PILGRIMS GUIDE MONDAY FEBRUARY 9, 2026 GOD OF RESTORATION A WORD FROM THE WORD: "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed." Joel 2:25-26 KJV.  Restoration can be at different levels, an individual, a couple, a family, or a community can experience divine restoration. However, when a nation experiences restoration, the news can be global. In the days of Elimelech, the kingdom of Judah was in trouble as there was famine in the land, and Elimelech and his family migrated to the land of the Moabites (Ruth 1:1). That family had sordid experiences in the land of Moab, to the extent that Elimelech and his two sons, Mahlon and Chilion died in that foreign land. But then the Restorer of Judah intervened, and the land of Judah became productive and fruitful once again, 'Then Naomi heard in Moab that the LORD had blessed his people in Judah by giving them good crops again. So Naomi and her daughters-in-law got ready to leave Moab to return to her homeland.' (Ruth 1:6 NLT). May you experience divine restoration in any contrary situation you find yourself presently.  For some years now, things have so bad in Nigeria that the economy keeps tanking, and many Nigerians have  checked out of the country in search of greener pastures. But there some of us, who are still believing the LORD for divine visitation and to heal the land. And we have taken the destiny of Nigeria in our hands (as it were), trusting God for the divine restoration.  The prophecy of Joel in the context of our foundational Scripture is significant in the end time move of God. Full national restoration in Nigeria is God's promise even economic and political power must change hands because the years lost to the locust, cankerworm, palmerworm and caterpillar will be restored. Nigeria has a key role to play in the end time move of God, and God has promised to restore the prosperity of Nigeria. Through divine restoration, the Church in Nigeria will advance the cause of the Gospel globally, and so God will empower His saints by all means to be light to the nations.  Will you be a vessel for such a glorious divine assignment?
