*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 40* *📅 DATE: 9TH FEBRUARY, 2026* *TOPIC: THE SPIRIT OF STAGNATION (PART 9)* *ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: — 2 CORINTHIANS 2:11 (KJV)* *“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”* *Devotional Message:* The apostle Paul gives a sober warning that Satan gains advantage over believers not mainly through power, but through ignorance. One of the greatest legal grounds the enemy uses to afflict believers with stagnation is ignorance of his strategies. In recent days, we have been exploring the spirit of stagnation, and one subtle deception the devil uses is abusing the message of grace. He deceives believers into repeatedly falling into sin with the mindset that “God is merciful; I will always repent later.” While it is true that God is merciful, the enemy uses this cycle to consume your time, keeping you stuck in the same spiritual position. Time is the currency of destiny. Every destiny operates within an appointed time, and when time is wasted in repeated battles with sin, progress is delayed. The enemy’s goal is not just to make you sin, but to rob you of growth, so that when you should be teaching others, you are still struggling with basics. As Scripture says, many who should be mature are still desiring spiritual milk instead of solid food. Grace was never given as a license to sin, but as empowerment to overcome sin. When we remain ignorant of the devil’s devices, we unknowingly allow him to keep us cycling in the same place, draining time meant for advancement, purpose, and impact. Child of God, your time on earth is limited. Do not waste it entertaining sin. Arise in understanding, walk in wisdom, and redeem the time, for the days are evil. *Prayer* : Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the gift of grace and truth. I ask for spiritual understanding to discern the devices of the enemy. Deliver me from every cycle of sin that wastes my time and hinders my growth. Empower me by Your Spirit to walk in righteousness, discipline, and purpose. I refuse stagnation, and I choose progress in Jesus’ name.
