*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 42*
* DATE: 11TH FEBRUARY, 2026*
*TOPIC: DRAWING FROM THE RIGHT FOUNTAIN*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: — JOHN 6:63 (NKJV)*
*“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”*
*Devotional Message*

The impact of the message we preach or teach—whether it lifts hope, edifies, transforms, and encourages people—depends entirely on the fountain from which it is drawn. When messages are drawn merely from human wisdom, artificial intelligence, or information platforms, they often end like lectures: people listen, take notes, and leave unchanged. But when a message flows from the fountain of the Holy Spirit, it carries life. It lifts burdens, turns sorrow into joy, convicts hearts, and transforms lives.

Jesus was distinct from the scribes and Pharisees because He taught with authority. His words pierced hearts and carried spiritual weight. The source of that authority was His intimacy with the Father. Scripture records that after ministering to multitudes, Jesus withdrew to the mountain to pray. Early in the morning, before the day began, He sought the Father in the secret place. That secret life powered His public ministry.

Child of God, do not allow overfamiliarity with spiritual things or the distractions of technology to rob you of intimacy with God. Technology may provide information, but only the Holy Spirit imparts life. The time you trade away from prayer, worship, and the Word is often the very time meant for drawing fresh oil from heaven.

Jesus said His words were spirit and life. As His disciples, we are called to minister the same life to others. But this is only possible when we consistently draw from the fountain of life—the presence of God. May our hearts yearn daily to seek Him, so that what flows out of us brings healing, hope, and transformation.

*Prayer*

Father, I thank You for calling me to be a vessel of life to others. Help me to guard my intimacy with You and to draw daily from the fountain of Your Spirit. Deliver me from distractions and overfamiliarity that dull my hunger for Your presence. Let every word I speak be spirit and life, bringing encouragement, healing, and transformation to those who hear me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
