THE DANGERS OF PHARAOH'S FELLOWSHIP
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God.” Romans 12:2 ESV.
The history and story of the Israelites in Egypt revolved around Pharaohs. The first of these Pharaohs gladly received the Israelites into Egypt in the days of the 'prime ministership' of Joseph, a son of Israel. This Pharaoh made Joseph a Lord in the land, and allowed the Israelites to settle wherever they wanted and do whatever they liked in the land of Egypt. The Israelites chose to settle in Goshen and prospered, but that was as long as the Pharaohs who knew Joseph reigned. When they have increased in number, Pharaoh's palace showed its true colour as another Pharaoh who did not know Joseph came to power. He enslaved and impoverished the Israelites and refused to let them go and worship their God. A people that were once adored and highly respected in the society suddenly became an abomination, and slaves to those who once adored them.
This is how the Pharaohs of life (the god of this world, Satan, the power behind those secret cults, the so-called godfathers, sugar daddies and sugar mummies) treat all those who fellowship with them. When you go to them, they receive you warmly, provide 'solutions' to your problems, wipe away your tears, and 'roll away your shame,' but it is always for a season. When you settle down with them, the tide turns and you soon become their slave, subjected to all kinds of pain, affliction and woes. You need to hear the ordeals of those who fall into the hands of terrible Pharaohs. It takes the mighty hand of God to pull out any one enslaved in Egypt (Exodus 3:19-20).
In case you are already entangled, today is your day of deliverance. Invite the LORD Jesus into your life and receive Him as your personal Saviour, even now, and you'll see chains and dominion of Satan over your life broken by God's mighty hands. Then go ahead and a seek out a living church and begin to learn the ropes of the new life you have as you fellowship with fellow believers in Christ Jesus.

Father LORD, I need Your mercy and deliverance from the powers of the Pharaohs of life. Grant me the spirit of discernment to recognise Pharaohs' ploys and baits of enslavement. And strengthen me to be victorious at all times.
