*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 45*
*DATE: 14TH FEBRUARY 2026*
*TOPIC: THE SALT THAT MUST NOT LOSE ITS FLAVOR*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURES: MATTHEW 5:13 KJV*
*“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted?”*
*Message*

As believers, Jesus calls us the salt of the earth. Salt brings flavor and increases appetite when added to food. In the same way, our conduct, speech, and lifestyle should create a hunger and thirst for God in the hearts of those who observe us.

Wherever we are—at home, in business, at the workplace, in boardrooms, shops, or among family—our lives should point people to Christ. Our integrity, honesty, humility, and grace should make others desire the God we serve and the Jesus we represent as His ambassadors.

Unfortunately, many have compromised. Some have bent toward corruption in workplaces and dealings with contractors. Some speak words that are not seasoned with grace. Others live one way in church and another in daily life. This inconsistency has diluted the Gospel. When salt loses its flavor, it cannot preserve or season anything. Likewise, when believers compromise, the message of Christ loses its visible power through them.

Salt is also a preservative. We are meant to preserve righteousness, truth, and godly standards in our generation. But when we mix our faith with corruption and sinful lifestyles, we dilute the very Gospel we are meant to protect and represent.

If we must remain the salt of the earth, the faith we profess on Sunday must be evident on Monday. We must choose what is right even when compromise seems easier or more profitable. The enemy will always offer shortcuts that appear rewarding but ultimately cost us our witness and eternal reward.

Let your life be so full of integrity and grace that when people see you, they develop an appetite to know this Jesus you serve.

*Prayer*

Father, thank You for calling me the salt of the earth. Forgive me for every area where I have compromised and diluted my witness. Restore my spiritual flavor. Help me to live with integrity in my home, workplace, and every sphere of influence. Let my speech be seasoned with grace and my lifestyle reflect Christ so that many may hunger and thirst for You. Give me the strength to reject shortcuts and remain faithful to Your standards. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
