*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 50*
*DATE: 19TH FEBRUARY 2026*
*TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF TRAINING BEFORE MANIFESTATION*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:LUKE 4:1–2,14 (NKJV)*
*“Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness… being tempted for forty days by the devil… Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee.”*
*Devotional Message*

God will not use a man He has not first taken through a season of training. What we manifest publicly will reveal either the strength or the deficiency of our preparation.

Those who send themselves prematurely—before training—often end up in shame, reproach, and a worse state than before.

Jesus, our perfect pattern, came for a divine purpose. Yet after His baptism and the affirmation of heaven, He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. There He fasted forty days and forty nights and was tempted by the devil. Only after overcoming did He return in the power of the Spirit.

John the Baptist also spent years in the wilderness until his time of manifestation. David was trained in the cave of Adullam before he could lead mighty and valiant men into victory. The Bible records that David conquered the battles he fought because he had first been shaped in obscurity.

Even Jesus trained His disciples before sending them out.

Child of God, in your season of manifestation, opposition will surely arise. Whether you conquer or are defeated depends largely on whether you fully embraced your season of training—or skipped parts of it.

Training seasons are marked by deeper prayer, fasting, studying the Word, and hidden preparation. They may feel lonely, slow, and unnoticed, but they are necessary. When manifestation comes, the opposition you face will expose either your strength or your deficiency. Therefore, embrace your training season. It is preparation for victory.

*Prayer*

Father, help me not to rush my season of preparation. Give me patience to endure training and humility to remain teachable. Build strength in me through prayer, fasting, and Your Word. When my season of manifestation comes, let me stand firm and conquer every opposition. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
