Mark 4:24 AMPC And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you—and more besides will be given to you who hear.
I love the classic amplified version of this verse
Virtue is moral Energy or Power and knowledge is Revelation
What the Word of God manifests in your life is all determined on the measure of priority that it has in your everyday life.
If the Word is 3rd,4th 6th or at the bottom on your lists of priorities? T
hen dont be shocked by the limited manifestation of the blessings of the Promises of God in your life.
Jesus is His Word
If the Word is not first priority in your life then Jesus is not first in your life either. Doesn't matter what you say or feel about it.
I know thats a tuff word..but true nonetheless.
Just repent and ask forgiveness and begin giving the Word of God top priority.
As a new creation in Christ,we need to spend our time in the new covenant writings of Jesus and His Apostles. Old testament is good to read but we need the teachings of Jesus to bring life.
