*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 59*
*DATE: 28TH FEBRUARY 2026*
*TOPIC: GREATER REVELATION, GREATER RESPONSIBILITY*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:Luke 12:48 (NKJV)*
“But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.”
*Devotional Message*

Jesus makes it clear in our anchor scripture that responsibility increases with revelation. The more light, truth, and understanding God entrusts to a person, the greater the level of obedience and accountability required.

Consider Mary and Zechariah. Both were visited by the angel and both questioned how the promise would be fulfilled. Yet the response they received was different. Zechariah, though a priest and knowledgeable in the things of God, doubted and was struck mute until the birth of John. Mary, though she asked a question, responded in humility and surrender, saying, “Be it unto me according to your word.” The level of revelation and responsibility matters.

In the Old Testament, Moses—who had experienced God’s glory and spoken with Him face to face—lost the opportunity to enter the Promised Land because of one act of disobedience. It may seem small outwardly, but to a man entrusted with such great revelation, the standard was higher.

This teaches us a sobering truth: the more revelation you receive about God’s Word, His ways, His acts, and His nature, the more obedience He expects from you. Growth in God is not only about increased power, influence, or spiritual experiences; it also demands deeper yieldedness.
Jesus illustrated that when He returns, the servant who knew his master’s will but failed to act accordingly would receive greater stripes than the one who did not know. Knowledge increases responsibility.

Therefore, as we desire greater revelation, deeper encounters, and higher levels in God, we must also pray for grace to bend fully to His will. Each level of glory carries its own expectations. Each increase in light requires a matching increase in obedience.

The impact of disobedience is greater when the entrusted revelation is greater. A single act of compromise at higher levels can affect many souls and cause loss in the Kingdom. That is why we must be willing to pay the price of obedience as we grow.

Seek growth, yes—but also seek grace to carry what you ask for.

*Prayer*

Father, thank You for the light and revelation You have given me. I ask for grace to walk in full obedience to every instruction You entrust to me. As You increase me in revelation, increase me also in humility, surrender, and yieldedness. Help me to carry Your glory responsibly and not bring loss to Your Kingdom through disobedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
