Daily Devotion — March 4
Strength That Comes from God
(Ephesians 6:10 NKJV)
Paul reminds believers that true strength is found in the Lord, not in ourselves. Spiritual battles require spiritual strength, and human effort alone is insufficient. Strength that lasts flows from God’s power, not personal resolve.
Being strong in the Lord means drawing daily from His presence through prayer, Scripture, and obedience.
Walking with God involves recognizing our need for His strength and choosing reliance over independence. God empowers those who trust Him.
Reflection Questions:
1. Where have I been relying on my own strength?
2. How can I intentionally draw strength from God today?
3. What does it mean to be strong in the Lord?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to rely on Your strength instead of my own. Teach me to walk daily in the power of Your might. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Practical Application:
โ Begin today with prayer, asking God for strength.
โ Replace self-effort with reliance on God’s power.
โ Stand firm in faith when challenges arise.
Takeaway Thought:
Lasting strength is found in the power of the Lord.
