**Thread:**

1/ Don’t believe the lie that “no one wants to become a pastor anymore.”
Many, many, many God-inspired Christians want to serve as pastors—because God Himself has called them!

The Bible says it plain in **1 Timothy 3:1 (KJV)**:
“This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.”

Wanting to pastor is a GOOD desire when God puts it in your heart. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

2/ But right now, wicked wolves in sheep’s clothing are standing in the pulpit and gatekeeping the door. They block the very people God has called.

Jesus warned us in **Matthew 7:15 (KJV)**:
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

These wolves look holy on the outside, but they’re tearing down the next generation of true pastors.

3/ Here’s how they do it: They “strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.”
That’s straight from **Matthew 23:24 (KJV)**.

It means they make a huge fuss over tiny things (like nit-picking your desire to serve) while ignoring giant sins in their own lives. They tell young called men and women, “Your desire is evil ambition!” But the Bible just called it “a good work”!

4/ Then they mix you up with what we call cognitive dissonance today—confusing messages that mess with your mind.

One minute they say, “We need pastors!”
The next minute they say, “But the right attitude is to hide in a corner and try hard not to be noticed at all.”

That’s not humility—that’s burying your talent in the ground (remember the parable in Matthew 25?). God doesn’t call us to hide!

5/ After they confuse and discourage the truly called, they have the nerve to say, “See? No one wants to be a pastor anymore!”

That’s a straight-up lie. The problem isn’t a lack of called people. The problem is the wolves blocking the gate.

6/ Instead of raising up the humble ones God called, these wolves promote people just like themselves—hypocrites who commit adultery, molest children, and exploit the flock for money.

Jesus called these kinds of leaders out in Matthew 23. They look good on Sunday but live wicked lives the rest of the week.

7/ History proves this pattern is nothing new.

In the 1500s, before the Protestant Reformation, many church leaders sold “indulgences”—pieces of paper that promised forgiveness for money. That was pure exploitation. They lived in open sin while preaching against others.

When Martin Luther stood up and said, “This is wrong,” the leaders called him proud, ambitious, and a troublemaker. They tried to shut him down. But God used Luther to bring the Bible back to everyday people. The wolves always attack the real deal.

8/ Fast-forward to the 1700s in England. God raised up preachers like John Wesley and George Whitefield. These men preached with real compassion—they cried for lost souls, showed emotion, and cared deeply.

The fancy, stuck-up church leaders called them “enthusiasts” (a bad word back then meaning crazy fanatics). They said their emotional preaching was improper. They tried to gatekeep and silence them.

But God used those “emotional” preachers to start a massive revival that changed nations! The true servants got called “too emotional” for being compassionate—just like today.

9/ So listen, if God has called you to pastor:
Don’t let the wolves win.

The Bible says in **Matthew 9:37-38 (KJV)**:
“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

God is still calling laborers! The true, honest, humble ones who love people and love the Word are needed now more than ever.

10/ Church, let’s stop listening to the lie.
If you’re called, study hard, pray hard, live holy, and step forward in faith.

The wolves may strain at gnats and swallow camels, but God sees the heart.

True pastors are rising. Don’t hide in the corner—answer the call!

Who else feels this fire? Drop a if God is calling you or someone you know. Let’s pray for the real shepherds to come forward.

End of thread.
