THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY MARCH 5, 2026   THE MARKS OF A TRUE DISCIPLE 3 A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Bear fruit in keeping with repentance." Matthew 3:8, ESV.  Fruit of the New Creation Life: What the fruit of the new creation entails is basically attitudes, conducts and character emanating from the new creation experience in harmony with the core values of the LORD Jesus Christ. These are distinguishing marks of a true disciple.  The LORD Jesus works in your life through His Spirit from the inside out, changing your character from self-centredness to love. The fruit is seen when you impact the lives of others by this love in a practical and selfless manner. Nothing satisfies God in your new creation life more than fruit, because you were saved to be a tool in God's hands to bring others to the point of salvation. You may want to ask what about being spiritually minded?
