*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 65*
*DATE:6th March 2026*
*TOPIC: THE POWER OF TESTIFYING*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: REVELATION 12:11 (NKJV) –*
*“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”*
*Devotion Message:*
In the scriptures, every person that encountered Jesus and received healing experienced not only restoration but also became a living testimony of God’s power. The blind whose eyes were restored, the deaf whose ears were opened, the dumb who began to speak, the lepers who were cleansed, the bent who were made straight, and the man with the withered hand who was restored—all had one thing in common: their miracles became a testimony that glorified God.
When God performs a miracle in a person's life, it is never meant to be one-sided. While God desires to remove shame and replace it with joy and gladness, He also seeks to receive glory through that miracle. That is why many who were healed by Jesus went out praising God and declaring His goodness. As a result of their testimonies, many others believed in God.
However, today there is a spirit of forgetfulness where people receive blessings from God but remain silent about His goodness. Many keep waiting for bigger miracles before they testify, forgetting that what may seem small to them could be someone else's prayer request.
When you testify about what God has done, you may unknowingly encourage someone who was on the verge of giving up. Your testimony could become a message of hope to someone battling discouragement, reminding them that God is still faithful. Without such encouragement, some may fall into despair, lose hope in God, or even backslide.
We must therefore understand that our lives are living messages. Sometimes you are the answer to someone’s prayer simply by sharing what God has done for you.
Testimony is also a powerful tool of evangelism. Many people surrender their lives to Jesus when they hear about His goodness and faithfulness demonstrated in the lives of others. Therefore, we must never remain silent but rise and give glory to God for all He has done.
When we faithfully testify of God's goodness, we show gratitude and stewardship over what He has done in our lives—and God entrusts more to those who are faithful.
*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for every good thing You have done in my life. Deliver me from the spirit of forgetfulness and help me to always testify of Your goodness. Use my testimony as a message of hope to others and a tool for bringing many to Christ. Let my life continually bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
