The Kitchen Newsletter
Good day.
The Kitchen explores, prepares and serves the contents in the Body of the Word as the delicacies of God—to create the form of the Father on earth, make the earth in his likeness and to take charge of the economic destinies of nations for God.
So relax for a moment, and let us journey together through the Scriptures as we behold the Body of the Word.
In Revelation 1:12–17, the apostle John records an extraordinary encounter while on the island of Patmos. He turned to see the voice speaking to him, and what he saw was not merely a vision—it was the living person of the Word of God.
He saw:
A Son of Man standing among seven golden lampstands
A robe reaching down to His feet with a golden sash across His chest
Hair white like wool
Feet like bronze glowing in a furnace
A voice like rushing waters
A sharp double-edged sword from His mouth
A face shining like the sun in its full strength
And most strikingly, John said:
“His eyes were like blazing fire.”
This vision is not simply poetic language. It is a revelation of the Body of the Word of God.
The Word of God is not merely letters written in a book. The Word of God is a living person—Jesus Christ. And this living Word is the exact image of the invisible God.
Hebrews 1:3 tells us:
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being.”
When we see the Body of the Word, we are seeing the form of the invisible Father made visible.
The Body of the Word Reveals the Father
The responsibility of Jesus Christ has always been to reveal the Father.
John 1:18 says:
“No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son… has made Him known.”
And Jesus Himself said in John 17:26:
“I have made You known to them and will continue to make You known.”
Even today, this revelation continues through the Body of the Word.
The Body of the Word is the face of God.
Paul confirms this in 2 Corinthians 4:6:
“God made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”
To understand who the Father is, we look at the Body of the Word, because all the fullness of God dwells in Christ bodily (Colossians 2:9).
Every member of that body—His face, His eyes, His voice, His hands—is a detailed description of the beauty and nature of the Father.
The Beauty of the Father Revealed
The Body of the Word carries all the beauty of the invisible God.
The Song of Solomon hints at this beauty when it says:
“Let me see your face, for your face is lovely.” (Song of Solomon 2:14)
Beauty in Scripture is not merely appearance. Beauty means the fullness of desirable qualities.
Each detail in the Body of the Word is therefore a revelation of the desirable qualities of God.
For example, John describes Christ’s face as:
“like the sun shining in all its brilliance.”
The sun produces light. It generates light.
In the same way, every description in the Body of the Word produces divine light.
Psalm 119:130 says:
“The unfolding of your word gives light.”
That light is revelation knowledge—the detailed understanding of who the Father is.
The Eyes Like Blazing Fire
Among all the descriptions John gives, one stands out with intense power:
“His eyes were like blazing fire.” (Revelation 1:14)
This is not merely imagery—it is a spiritual declaration about the nature of God revealed through Christ.
Fire in Scripture represents intensity, passion, hunger, and consuming focus.
When John saw the eyes of the Word blazing like fire, he was seeing the burning passion of the Father revealed in the person of Christ.
Those eyes reveal several profound truths.
1. The Eyes of Fire Reveal the Passion of the Father
Fire burns with intensity. It consumes everything before it.
The blazing eyes of Christ reveal that the Father has an intense and unstoppable passion centered on the Body of the Word.
This is why the Body of the Word is described prophetically as the bread before God.
In Exodus 25:30, God commanded:
“Put the bread of the Presence on this table to be before me at all times.”
This bread points prophetically to the Body of the Word
Jesus declared:
“I am the bread that came down from heaven.” (John 6:33)
The Body of the Word is therefore the food of God—the constant focus of the Father.
The blazing eyes show that the Father looks upon this bread with relentless hunger and desire.
2. The Eyes of Fire Reveal the Father’s Aggressive Hunger
Fire represents aggressive appetite.
Isaiah 30:27 speaks of God's tongue with imagery of consuming fire.
This reveals that the Father’s desire for the Body of the Word is not passive—it is fierce, burning, and continuous.
The Body of the Word is therefore the aggressive hunger of the Father.
At every moment, the Father’s attention, desire, and affection are fixed upon the Body of the Word.
3. The Eyes of Fire Reveal the Father’s Focus
Eyes represent attention and focus.
If the eyes are fire, it means the Father’s focus is intense and unwavering.
The Body of the Word is not one of many interests of God—it is His central delight.
The Father continually gazes upon the Body of the Word with burning affection and eternal fascination.
The Dining Table of the Father
The Scriptures also reveal another dimension of this mystery.
The Body of the Word is the dining table of the Father.
Exodus 25:30 again declares:
“Put the bread of the Presence on this table to be before me at all times.”
This means the Father always has a table before Him, and on that table is the Body of the Word.
Song of Solomon 7:2 describes this table prophetically:
A goblet that never lacks blended wine
A mound of wheat encircled by lilies
The wine represents the blood of the Word.
The wheat represents the bread of the Word.
So the Body of the Word is both:
the table, and
the food upon the table.
This is why the Father continually dwells there.
The Permanent Residence of the Father
Where food is prepared, people gather.
Where food is served, people dwell.
Spiritually speaking, the Father dwells where His food is.
And His food is the Body of the Word.
Therefore, the Body of the Word becomes:
The dining table of the Father
The place of His satisfaction
The center of His delight
The permanent residence of God
If you are searching for the Father, you will always find Him at His table—in the Body of the Word.
Final Thoughts
The revelation given to John in Revelation is not merely a vision of Christ’s appearance. It is a prophetic unveiling of the Father through the Body of the Word.
Every part of that body tells us something about God.
The face shining like the sun reveals the source of divine light.
The voice like rushing waters reveals the authority of God’s speech.
The eyes blazing like fire reveal the burning passion of the Father.
And all of these together show us that:
The Body of the Word is the Image of the Invisible God.
