*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 67*
*DATE:8th March 2026*
*TOPIC: THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF THE LIGHT*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:JOHN 8:12 (NKJV)*
*“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”*
*Devotional Message*

Previously, we saw that the true evidence of encountering light is transformation. In the Gospel of John, Jesus declares that He is the Light of the world. Wherever Jesus went, anyone bound by darkness experienced freedom and change.

A clear example is the blind man who encountered Jesus. The yoke of blindness that had bound him for years was broken, and he received his sight. This shows us that whenever someone truly encounters Christ, the power of darkness cannot remain.

The Bible identifies Jesus as the Light that shines in darkness, and darkness cannot overcome it. Therefore, whenever the Light enters a life, every form of darkness begins to lose its hold. Darkness may appear in many forms—sin, addiction, stagnation, shame, reproach, fear, or spiritual bondage—but none of these can survive the presence of the Light.

An encounter with Christ brings freedom. It breaks the yokes that have held individuals and families captive for years. When the Light shines, chains fall, vision is restored, and a new story begins.

This transformation begins when a person accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. At that moment, the power of sin is broken, and the individual is delivered from the bondage of darkness. A true encounter with the Light means you cannot remain the same—your life, direction, and destiny begin to change.

*Prayer*

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus as the Light of the world. I ask that Your light shine in every dark area of my life. Break every yoke of darkness, addiction, stagnation, and bondage. Let Your transforming power bring freedom, restoration, and a new beginning in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
