FIGHTING TOGETHER, NOT ALONE
It is not good thing when people fall into defeat. But often, it’s because they were fighting alone. They stayed with the enemy, thinking they could handle things their way. They didn’t learn from Gideon or David. They didn’t learn that you must be surrounded by fellow soldiers. Some are confident, “I used to fast for seven days every month, I used to do this.” But that’s not how we fight. It takes two to put send the legions fleeing Deut.32:30.
Alone, five enemies can overwhelm you. But with fifty others beside you, it ends fast, Prov. 27:17. That’s what has happened to many. They fought for years alone, then came into a proper church family, and the battles ended. Upon Mount Zion, into the camp of true believers.
Some were used to fighting only with a shield of faith. But a shield only blocks—it doesn’t kill. The Sword of The Spirit kills. That’s why we emphasize Bible study. The helmet, the breastplate, the shoes—they protect you, but they don’t kill anything. A sword does. So the more swords you have, the faster your victory. That’s why we go to church. The Church forms a sword-producing factory through The Word of God. And if we listen, obey, and keep learning, our warfare will never be the same. Victory will be swift and easy.
