THE PILGRIMS GUIDE MONDAY MARCH 9, 2026 LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES  A WORD FROM THE WORD: "As they were crossing the lake, Jesus warned them, 'Watch out! Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and of Herod.'" Mark 8:15, NLT.  Many of God’s people do not realise how menacing and dangerous unbelief is. One of the greatest hindrances to a Christian's growth and maturity is the poison of unbelief. 'The yeast of the Pharisees and of Herod,' represents this poison. You should, as a believer be wary of this, unfortunately, this poison of unbelief is a prevalent commodity in Christendom today.  This poison of unbelief has a younger sibling called the 'fear of the unknown,' which it unleashes on the child of God who's in the process of overcoming it. You must learn to hold on to the LORD Jesus, because His very words give life. Ask the LORD Jesus to endue you with radical faith, the kind of faith that never goes back from what it believes and knows to be true.  While you're at that, discernment is needed also to enable you to overcome the virulent teachings flying around and about. Radical faith in the LORD Jesus is a very potent antidote to the poison of unbelief. When you possess and exercise it, you'll be the best for it.  PRAYER BULLETS: ABBA Father, I thank You for the gift of faith.
