*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 68*
*DATE:9th March 2026*
*TOPIC: BELIEVE YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED IT*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: JOHN 11:40–42 (NIV)*
*“Then Jesus said, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?’ … Then Jesus looked up and said, ‘Father, I thank you that you have heard me.’”*
*Devotional Message*

Jesus taught that when we pray, we must believe that we have already received what we asked for. Our prayers should come from the position of faith, not uncertainty.

A powerful example of this is seen when Jesus stood before the tomb of Lazarus. Lazarus had been dead for four days, yet when Jesus prayed, He did not beg God to act in the future. Instead, He said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.”
Jesus spoke as though the answer had already happened. His prayer was not a wish but a declaration of faith.

This is the posture every believer should have when praying. When you are sick, you declare, “By His stripes I am healed.” When trusting God for provision, you affirm that God has already made a way. When believing for a job, spouse, finances, or breakthrough, you pray with confidence that God has already heard and answered.

Faith is what transfers what already exists in the spiritual realm into physical manifestation. Doubt blocks this process. The book of James tells us that the one who doubts should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

Therefore, our prayers should never be mere wishes. They should be affirmations of what God has already promised and accomplished.

Stop wishing it will happen. Start declaring in faith that it has already happened.

Prayer

Father, thank You because You always hear my prayers. Help me to pray with faith and confidence in Your promises. Remove every trace of doubt from my heart and teach me to stand firmly on Your Word. I declare that every promise You have spoken over my life will manifest according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
