*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 72*
*DATE:13th March 2026*
*TOPIC: GOD'S STRATEGY FOR VICTORY*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:ISAIAH 55:8 (NIV)*
*“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.*
*Devotional Message:*

God’s ways are not our ways, and His plans are not our plans. Many people face opposition in life, especially in relation to the progress, advancement, and impact they are making in their journey. However, one important truth we must understand is that every battle or opposition we face requires God’s strategy for victory.

A good example is seen in the children of Israel when they were about to enter the Promised Land. They encountered the fortified city of Jericho. Instead of relying on human strategy, Joshua inquired of the Lord. God instructed them to march around the wall of the city once every day for six days, and on the seventh day they were to march around it seven times and then shout. They obeyed the word of the Lord, and the wall that stood before them collapsed.

Another example is King Jehoshaphat. When three nations gathered together to fight against him, he prepared his army as any king would do. However, when he inquired of the Lord, God gave him an unusual strategy. Instead of beginning the battle with weapons, they were instructed to begin with praise. As they praised the Lord, God set ambushes against their enemies, and the opposing armies turned against each other.

These examples teach us a powerful lesson: the battles we face belong to God, and His methods of victory are often different from human logic. If Joshua or Jehoshaphat had relied on their natural reasoning, they would have armed their armies with the best weapons and fought in the conventional way they had done before. But in those moments, God required their trust, confidence, surrender, and obedience.

Each one of us faces unique battles depending on the assignment God has entrusted to us. Sometimes the opposition can appear stronger than us, and many people become discouraged or even give up. Indeed, our enemies may appear strong, but the One who lives inside us is greater than the one who is in the world.

The pathway to victorious living in the midst of opposition is learning to depend on God and continually asking Him for His strategy. For some battles, God may require courage; for others, wisdom. In some situations, the weapon may be worship, praise, or prayer. This is because our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness.

If you rely solely on your logical mind, you will fail. If you depend only on human help, you will be disappointed. If you trust in your own intellect, you will fall short. But when you rely on God, His ways—though sometimes unusual—are always superior and the safest path to victory.

*Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, thank You because You are the One who fights my battles. Teach me to trust Your ways even when they seem different from my own understanding. Help me to seek Your strategy in every situation and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Strengthen my faith so that I may always rely on You for victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*Daily Bible Reading:*
