*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 75*
*DATE:16th March 2026*
*TOPIC: WHEN GOD TURNS EVIL INTO GOOD*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:**GENESIS 50:20 (NIV)**‬
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

*Devotional Message:*

The devil did not understand that the strategy to kill Jesus was actually part of fulfilling God’s redemptive plan for the whole world. What appeared to be a victory for the kingdom of darkness was in reality the very means through which God redeemed mankind from sin and reconciled humanity back to the Father.

Through the death and resurrection of Christ, the enemy’s plan was overturned, and God’s eternal purpose was accomplished.

A similar situation occurred in the early church. After the martyrdom of Stephen, persecution arose against the believers. The enemy believed that by persecuting and scattering the church he would silence the message of Christ and bring an end to the spread of the gospel. However, what he did not realize was that this persecution became the very instrument that caused the gospel to spread across many regions. As believers were scattered, they carried the message of Christ with them, and many people heard and received the word of the Lord.

What the kingdom of darkness intended for evil became an advantage for the kingdom of God.

We see the same principle in the life of Job. Satan believed that the suffering he inflicted upon Job would end in shame and destruction. Yet he did not realize that after the period of testing, Job would emerge purified, refined like gold, and ultimately restored by God.

This truth also applies to the challenges we face today. The enemy may intend certain situations in our lives for harm, discouragement, or destruction. However, God has the power to turn those very circumstances into instruments for our good and for His glory. Just as it was with Joseph, what others meant for evil, God uses to position His people for elevation, greater influence, and fulfillment of purpose.

Therefore, do not waste seasons of trial, persecution, or hardship. These moments are often part of the refining process through which God prepares His people. Even in the fire you may be experiencing right now, God is present with you. He is working behind the scenes, turning what was meant to harm you into something that will ultimately serve His divine purpose in your life.

Like gold refined in the fire, you will emerge stronger, purer, and ready for the glory that God has prepared.

*Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, thank You because You are sovereign over every situation in my life. Even when the enemy intends harm, You are able to turn it for my good and for Your glory. Give me the grace to remain faithful during seasons of testing and help me trust in Your perfect plan. Refine my life through every trial so that I may emerge stronger and more aligned with Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
