Good morning, brethren.
1. Morning devotion for today.
i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2026.
"JESUS, YOUR MEDIATOR"
āThere is oneā¦mediator between God and menā¦Jesus.ā 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV
MICHAEL SPENCER writes: āThe truth that Jesus is the one mediator between God and human beings knocked me to the floor and suspended me over the truth that God had done all things necessary for my salvation. He had paid the debt and become the necessary sacrifice. He had loved me to the uttermost. He had given all this to me as a gift. I had nothing to do but simply stop ignoring His gift and receive it. I was a drowning man whose rescue depended on stopping all efforts to swim and trusting someone who was not going to make me a better swimmer, but who would drown in my place. This experienceā¦demolished the idea that I could be anything other than what I was: a broken, sinful, wounded, failing, hurting human being⦠To try to make myself presentable or acceptable made me less capable of receiving the simple gift of Jesusā mediation on my behalf. Jesus was not clearing the road so that I could ride victoriously through life. He was becoming the road that would carry me through all the garbage, falls, failures and disasters that were the inevitable results of my existence. In trying to make myself lovable, I had been distancing myself from true love. In pretending to be a leading candidate for the religious life, I was abandoning the life of grace. In seeking to be a good Christian, I was deserting the truth that there is no gospel for āgoodā Christians, because the Lamb of God was nailed to an altar for those who are not good, and who are no good at pretending to be good.ā

ii. THE THOUGHTS OF MAN
"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableāif anything is excellent or praiseworthyāthink about such things." - Philippians 4:8
God created man with the ability to think. This unique gift raises man above every other being created by God. The mind is extremely fascinating. It can make people rich, but the opposite is also true.
Mental health
Our mind can also be full of horror, misery, fear, pride, doubt, jealousy, pride or hatred. Everything we do, goes first through our mind. This applies to both good and evil. Everything is initially contemplated in the mind of man. A suicide bomber does not spontaneously make the decision to commit suicide. No, it has been in his mind for a long time.
The apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5: 'For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.'
Mental health is very important and should be based exclusively on the Word of God, the Bible, because God is our Creator. He presents us with the choice: it is either the blessing or the curse. The moment you leave God's path, you become mentally unbalanced. This is why the world is sick. A lot of physical tensions and complaints arise from the fact that people are mentally sick.
Jesus is our Healer and He wants to heal us. To be completely healthy, you must have healthy thoughts. God sees us - our spirit, soul and body - as one whole. He is the only One who can heal us completely.

2. Morning Prayer for today.
i. Morning Prayer
Come unto me, all [ye] that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ⤠Matthew 11:28
In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart. ⤠John Bunyan
Our Father, You have given us many invitations to come to You. You have invited us . . .
To come with our sins,
To come with our troubles,
To come with our mistakes,
To come with our cares,
To come with our sorrows.
You have told us to come at all times, that we shall . . .
Never be unwelcome,
Never be turned away,
Never find You too busy to hear us.
You have promised us . . .
Mercy for our sins,
Comfort for our sorrows,
Strength for our duties,
Wisdom for our ignorance, when we come to You.
We thank You for all these precious invitations and assurances.
What would we do, O God, if we might not thus come to You? To whom else could we go? There is no other in all the universe who could help usāas we must be helped. Our hearts are full of praise and rejoicing that we may thus come to You. There is nothing we cannot bring to Youānothing too small to bringāand nothing too large. We thank You that we are so blessed, that we have all Your divine love and grace to help us in our times of need. We need no other help but Yours. We come this morning with all our burdens.
We have sins. These are our worst burdens. They will sink us to eternal despair unless we find help. We thank You that the Lord Jesus bore our sins and bore them away. In His name, depending upon His atonement, we come with our sins.
We have other needs.
We are not strong enough for duty.
We cannot stand against the world and the power of Satan.
We have no wisdom for lifeās problems, its duties, its responsibilities.
We need strength,
we need wisdom,
we need graceāfor every moment!
So we come to You, our Father, as Your redeemed children. Receive us, bless us, keep us, and help us. We ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
