We cannot assume people who wear Christian clothing are believers. Last night at Union Station in Washington, DC, a woman wearing a T-shirt like this one asked me about electric outlets nearby. I complimented her shirt and asked if she knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. The woman mentioned liking the artwork and then asked what denomination I was. She eventually revealed being born Jewish, and later attended a Methodist church, but said it wasn’t for her. She now considers herself a gnostic and had supposedly gained more knowledge about spiritual things. I referred to 2 Corinthians 10:5 which talks about “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” I got to share my testimony before we interrupted by her cell phone ringing. At that point, I walked away since my train to New York was coming. She had received a gospel tract from me. I also mentioned true Christianity is not a religion but a relationship, which she agreed. Therefore, many seeds were planted. I pray more laborers will cross her path.
