SEEK GOD'S APPROVAL 2
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33 KJV.
Whose approval do you seek? Do you seek God’s approval in all you do? Whom do you want to impress the most? God or men?
You must seek the approval of God in your life so that others will glorify God when they see the outcome of His approval upon your life.
It is the approval of God upon your life that brings the approval of men.
One thing you should note is that when you respect people and have regard for them, they in turn should have respect and have regard for you also. You should not allow the respect and regard you have for men to move you out of right standing with God.
Paul, the apostle, by the Holy Spirit wrote to the churches in Galatia, 'Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.' (Galatians 1:10 NIV), he was pointing out the futility of seeking men's approval as a child and servant of God in view of eternity.
You should endeavour not to give in to the things people say that does not stand with the word of God, just probably because you desire your approval rating with them to go up.
God's approval is all you need to do what is right. When you live according to what God wants, you will live in peace, as the word of God sets us free.
Seek and win God's approval for your life and service, you will be the best for it.

LORD Jesus, help me to stay true and faithful to You, seeking and winning Your approval in my life and endeavours.
