TODAY'S MESSAGE SERMON TITLE: DREAMS OF WITCHCRAFT MANIPULATIONS Introduction Dreams are spiritual channels. They can come from God, your mind, or the enemy. As a believer, you must not be ignorant—because what you ignore spiritually can affect you physically. There are dreams that are not ordinary. They are attacks, manipulations, and spiritual projections designed to weaken, confuse, or delay destiny. > Job 33:14-15 – “For God speaks… in a dream, in a vision of the night…” If God speaks through dreams, the enemy can also attempt to manipulate through dreams. 1. THE REALITY OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE IN DREAMS The Bible makes it clear: we are in a spiritual battle. > Ephesians 6:12 – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…” Dreams can become a battlefield where: Covenants are initiated Fear is planted Oppression is introduced Truth: Not every dream is harmless. Some require spiritual response. 2. SIGNS OF WITCHCRAFT MANIPULATION IN DREAMS These are patterns believers often report: Eating in the dream Being chased or attacked Sexual encounters in dreams Seeing dead people interacting with you Repeated failure or backwardness Being trapped, tied, or unable to move > Luke 10:19 – “I have given you authority… over all the power of the enemy… Warning: Don’t panic—but don’t ignore repeated patterns. 3. THE ENEMY USES DREAMS TO INTRODUCE SPIRITUAL BONDAGE The goal is not just the dream—it is the effect. Spiritual weakness Fear and anxiety Delay and stagnation Sinful inclinations > John 10:10 – “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy…” Hard truth: What is entertained in the spirit can manifest in reality if not resisted. 4. YOUR AUTHORITY OVER DREAM MANIPULATIONS You are not a victim—you are empowered. > Mark 16:17 – “In my name they will cast out demons…” > James 4:7 – “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” You don’t fight dreams with fear—you fight with authority in Christ. 5. PURITY AND DISCERNMENT ARE YOUR DEFENSE Not all attacks are random—some are opened by doors: Sin and compromise Ungodly media and influences Spiritual negligence (no prayer, no Word) > Ecclesiastes 10:8 – “…whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a serpent.” Wisdom: Close every door that gives the enemy access. CASE STUDY: A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE (JOSEPH VS DARK INFLUENCE) Joseph was a dreamer, but his dreams were from God. However, others around him were influenced by jealousy and evil intentions (Genesis 37). Contrast: Joseph’s dreams → divine destiny His brothers’ actions → evil manipulation Despite this, God preserved Joseph. > Psalm 105:19 – “Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. Lesson: Not every spiritual attack succeeds—if you stay aligned with God, you will overcome. ACTION STEPS 1. Take Your Dream Life Seriously Stop dismissing everything as “just a dream.” 2. Pray Before Sleeping Commit your night into God’s hands. > Psalm 4:8 – “I will lie down and sleep in peace…” 3. Reject Negative Dreams Immediately When you wake up: Cancel it in prayer Declare the opposite 4. Build a Strong Spiritual Life Word + Prayer = Spiritual strength 5. Avoid Fear—Operate in Authority Fear empowers the enemy. Faith activates God. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Q1: Are all bad dreams from witchcraft? Answer: No. Some come from stress, fear, or your thoughts. But repeated, patterned, and oppressive dreams require spiritual attention. Q2: Why do these dreams keep repeating? Answer: Because something is not being addressed—either spiritually or mentally. Q3: Can a dream affect real life? Answer: Yes—especially if it plants fear, influences behavior, or opens spiritual doors. Q4: What should I do after a bad dream? Answer: Pray immediately, reject it, and declare God’s promises over your life. PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, every negative dream affecting my life—be cancelled in Jesus’ name. 2. Every manipulation of darkness in my sleep—catch fire now. 3. I reject every evil covenant introduced through dreams. 4. Blood of Jesus, cleanse my dream life completely. 5. Every spirit attacking me in dreams—be destroyed by fire 6. I receive peace, rest, and divine encounters in my sleep. 7. Lord, restore everything stolen through negative dreams. CLOSING CHARGE Don’t become obsessed with demons—but don’t be careless either. Your focus should not be fear of witchcraft… Your focus should be authority in Christ.
