*š DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 84*
*DATE:25TH March 2026*
*TOPIC:VICTORY OVER DOUBT*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:ā MATTHEW 4:4 (NKJV)*
*āIt is written, āMan shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.āā*
*Devotional Message:*
We have established that our identity as believers is that of overcomers in Christ Jesus. However, despite this truth, the enemy continually seeks to plant seeds of doubt in the heart of the believer. His aim is to introduce unbelief so that one begins to think and speak contrary to his identity in Christ.
When doubt is entertained, it influences confession, and confession eventually shapes reality. Therefore, it is essential for every believer to be firmly grounded in the Word of God.
Our Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated the pattern for victory during His temptation in the wilderness. Each time the enemy spoke, He responded with, āIt is writtenā¦ā This reveals that victory over deception and temptation comes through a deep understanding and application of Scripture.
As a child of God, you must be filled with the Word so that unbelief finds no place in you. When the enemy suggests failure, you must declare Godās truth. When he attempts to label you as defeated, you must affirm your identity as more than a conqueror. When he introduces thoughts of limitation, you must stand on the Word that declares you are the head and not the tail.
A lack of the Word creates room for deception. When a believer is not established in truth, he becomes vulnerable to the enemyās lies. These lies, when accepted, shape belief, and belief influences speech and actions.
The example of the Israelites reveals this principle. Those who believed they would perish in the wilderness spoke accordingly, and it came to pass. However, Joshua and Caleb, who believed Godās promise, entered into the Promised Land. This shows that what a man believes and confesses plays a vital role in what he experiences.
Scripture declares that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Therefore, as you continually meditate on the Word, your faith is strengthened, and doubt is displaced.
Beloved, your confidence must be built upon the Word of God. It is His Wordānot your feelings or circumstancesāthat sustains you and gives you victory over every challenge.
*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word, which is life and truth. I receive grace to be grounded in Your Word and to stand firm against every lie of the enemy. Fill my heart with Your truth and strengthen my faith. Help me to speak and act in alignment with my identity in Christ. In Jesusā name, Amen.
