Be Teachable. Be Empty. Be Filled by God.
In a world full of pride, noise, and self-importance, it’s easy to think we already know enough. We protect our opinions, defend our ways, and close our hearts to correction. But the truth is—God cannot pour into a vessel that is already full.
A teachable heart is a humble heart.
It is a heart that listens, receives, and is willing to change.
The woman on the left represents a life surrendered—open, peaceful, and ready to receive. She does not resist the hand above her. She allows herself to be filled, refreshed, and guided. This is what it means to walk with God—trusting His ways more than your own.
But the other side shows a different story—resistance, pride, and self-sufficiency. A heart that says, “I know better,” will always struggle to receive what God wants to give.
God is always ready to pour—His wisdom, His peace, His direction, His grace.
But the question is: Are you empty enough to receive it?
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6
Today, choose humility.
Choose to listen.
Choose to be teachable.
Because when you empty yourself of pride…
God will fill you with purpose.
