A TESTIMONY OF DELIVERANCE, TRANSFORMATION, AND FREEDOM

My name is RAYMOND CHIBALE.

"My beloved youth in Christ, believers and nonbelievers,"

I stand before you today not as someone who has always had it together, but as a living testimony of God's miraculous power and transforming grace. My story begins in a place of darkness, rebellion, and bondage—but it ends in freedom, peace, and the overwhelming love of Jesus Christ. I pray that as I share my journey with you, you will be encouraged to pursue God with all your heart, no matter where you are right now.

THE REBELLIOUS CHILD

When I was very young, I was what you would call a "bad child." I was full of bad character, disobedient, and constantly getting into trouble. My parents used to beat me every day because of my behavior. I remember how they would force me to go to church. My mother would say, "If you don't go to church, you will not eat food in this house." So I started going to church—not because I loved God, not because I understood faith—but simply because I wanted to eat.

My parents never really explained to me "why" I needed to go to church. To me, it was just punishment, just rules, just something I had to endure. I had no relationship with God. Church was boring. God seemed distant and irrelevant to my life.

But everything changed the day my mother sat me down and told me a story—a story I had never heard before. A story about how God had already saved my life once, even before I knew Him.

THE MIRACLE I DIDN'T REMEMBER

My mother told me that when I was five years old, I used to play on the street with my friends. There was a woman nearby who would fry fritters and sell them. We were just children—mischievous, foolish children—and we used to steal her fritters. Day after day, we would take them and run away laughing.

But one day, she noticed. And this woman was not an ordinary woman—she was a witch.

She decided to punish me. She chose to make me a cripple.

Suddenly, my mother noticed that I wasn't able to walk anymore. My legs just stopped working. She was terrified. She took me to several hospitals, but my condition didn't change. The doctors had no answers. They couldn't explain what was wrong with me. Nothing they did made any difference.

Finally, my mother made a decision that would change everything. She decided to pray.

She prayed for over five months. Five months! Can you imagine? Day after day, week after week, month after month—she prayed and prayed, but nothing changed. I still couldn't walk. But my mother didn't stop. She didn't give up. She continued to pray.

One day, while she was praying with me on the mountain, a prophet came to her. He said, "God has heard your prayers. Why have you been wasting your time going to hospitals? Your son stole fritters with his friends, and that witch decided to paralyze your son's legs because she saw his future. But because you have been disturbing her with your prayers, I have seen her coming with your son's legs. God is giving them back."

And just like that—by the grace of God—I was healed.

My mother told me this story, and for the first time, I understood. God had fought for me when I didn't even know Him. God had answered my mother's prayers when I was helpless. God had broken the curse of a witch and restored my legs.

From that day forward, I started going to church without anyone forcing me. I went because I wanted to. I went because I knew God was real.

THE STRUGGLE WITH SIN

But let me be honest with you, my young and big brothers and sisters—just because I started going to church willingly didn't mean my bad character disappeared overnight. I wish I could tell you that everything changed instantly, but it didn't.

I was still stealing people's things. I was still living in sin. I began to struggle with masturbation—every single day. I started sleeping with girls, thinking it was normal, thinking it was just part of growing up. My life looked religious on the outside, but on the inside, I was still bound by sin.

Then, ten years ago, I made a decision that would mark the true beginning of my transformation. I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior, and I got baptized. That was the moment God truly entered my life through Jesus Christ.

I began to stop sinning—little by little. But I want you to understand something important: deliverance is a process. Even after I gave my life to Christ, I was still tied up in some bondages. Masturbation and sexual sin still had a grip on me. I started sleeping with a lot of women, thinking it was normal. I was addicted to pornography. I masturbated every day. I really suffered with those bondages.

I know some of you are struggling with the same things right now. You love God, but you're still fighting secret battles. You go to church, but when you're alone, you fall into the same sins over and over again. I want you to know—I've been there. And I want you to know—there is hope. There is freedom.

THE BREAKTHROUGH

In 2022, everything began to shift. I joined Viens et Vois Church Lusaka through a true God-sent friend, PHILIP MWELA, and God began to teach me about holiness. Not just religion. Not just church attendance. But true holiness—living a life set apart for God.

And let me tell you, it wasn't easy. God took away everything I had. I started suffering. Life became harder on me. I had to stop everything I used to do—all the sinful things I did to get money, all the shortcuts, all the compromises. God was refining me, purifying me, teaching me to depend completely on Him.

It was painful. It was difficult. There were moments I wanted to give up. But God was faithful.

He began to break the chains. He began to set me free from the addiction to pornography. He gave me the strength to stop masturbating. He delivered me from the bondage of sexual sin.

And today, I stand before you as a testimony: It has been four years since I stopped sleeping around with women. Four years of freedom. Four years of victory.

THE PEACE I HAVE NOW

Now, I have a peaceful life. I fear God. I am hoping for a better tomorrow. Jesus saved my life from the addiction of pornography and masturbation. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

I'm not telling you that life is perfect now. I'm not telling you that I don't face challenges. But I am telling you that the peace I have in Christ is real. The freedom I have is real. The joy I have is real.

When you live in holiness, when you surrender everything to God, when you choose obedience over pleasure—God gives you something the world cannot give: eternal peace.

MY CALL TO YOU

So today, I want to encourage you, my beloved youth, brothers and sisters. Some of you are where I was. You're struggling with secret sins. You're battling with pornography, with masturbation, with sexual immorality. You feel trapped. You feel ashamed. You feel like you can never be free.

But I'm here to tell you: Jesus can set you free.

It doesn't matter how long you've been bound. It doesn't matter how many times you've tried and failed. It doesn't matter how deep the addiction goes. Jesus is stronger. His grace is sufficient. His power is made perfect in your weakness.

Stop making excuses. Stop saying, "I'll change tomorrow." Stop thinking that sin is normal just because everyone else is doing it. God is calling you to holiness. God is calling you to purity. God is calling you to freedom.

Surrender everything to Him today. Confess your sins. Ask Him for help. Join a community of believers who will hold you accountable. Cut off every access to temptation. Delete those apps. Block those websites. End those relationships that are pulling you away from God.

It won't be easy. You might suffer for a season like I did. But I promise you—the peace, the freedom, the joy that comes from living in obedience to God is worth it all.

You will have eternal peace and life.

The same God who healed my legs when I was five years old is the same God who broke the chains of sexual bondage in my life. And He can do the same for you.

Don't wait. Don't delay. Surrender to Jesus today.

Draw near to God, he will draw near to you. (James 4:8)

May God bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and give you peace.

Amen.

  • "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

The greatest inheritance we can give our children is not wealth, success, or worldly achievements—it is a heart that knows, loves, and fears God. Money can be lost, education can be forgotten, and earthly possessions will one day fade away. But the Word of God planted in a child's heart has the power to guide them for the rest of their lives.

Children learn more from what they see than from what they hear. When they watch parents pray, worship faithfully, read the Bible, forgive others, and trust God in difficult times, those lessons become deeply rooted in their hearts. Every prayer you teach them, every Bible story you share, every Sunday you bring them to church, and every moment you point them to Jesus is a seed being planted for eternity.

There may be seasons when they struggle, make mistakes, or drift from the path. Yet never stop praying. The seeds of God's Word do not die. God is able to remind them of every truth they learned in their childhood and draw them back to Himself in His perfect time.

Parents, grandparents, and guardians have a sacred responsibility. This generation desperately needs children who know the truth, stand for righteousness, and boldly follow Christ in a world filled with confusion. Let us raise children who love God more than the world, obey His Word more than popular culture, and seek His Kingdom above everything else.

Don't wait until tomorrow to teach them about Jesus. Every day is an opportunity to shape a life that will glorify God for generations to come.

Raise them with love. Teach them with patience. Lead them by example. Pray for them without ceasing. Above all, point them to Jesus Christ—the only foundation that will never fail.

  • No matter what someone looks like, no matter how many mistakes they have made, and no matter how broken their past may be, no one is beyond the reach of God's amazing grace.

People may judge the tattoos, the appearance, the failures, or the reputation, but God looks beyond what the eyes can see. He sees a heart that is seeking Him, a soul crying out for mercy, and a life that can be completely transformed by His love.

The church should never be a place where sinners are rejected—it should be a place where they encounter the forgiveness, hope, and restoration found in Jesus Christ. Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future when they surrender their life to God.

Before judging someone else's story, remember that we were all sinners in need of God's grace. The same mercy that saved us is available to everyone who comes to Him with a humble and repentant heart.

"For the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." — 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)

Let us choose compassion over condemnation, love over prejudice, and grace over judgment. Because one sincere prayer can change a life forever.

  • THE SECRET IN PSALM 21

THE POWER OF GOD’S STRENGTH, FAVOR & LASTING VICTORY

Psalm 21 reveals the secret that when God strengthens a person, no enemy can stop their lifting and victory.

Psalm 21 is a song of thanksgiving for victory, answered prayers, and divine favor.
David rejoiced because God gave him strength, protected him from enemies, and crowned him with blessings.

This Psalm teaches that true success does not come from human power alone—it comes from God.
When God blesses a person, favor, joy, victory, and honor follow them everywhere they go.

No matter your past battles, God is preparing to crown your life with testimonies and restoration.

“For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.” — Psalm 21:3

7 PRAYER POINTS FROM PSALM 21

    1. O Lord, strengthen me with Your divine power.

    2. Father, crown my life with favor and honor.

    3. Every battle against my destiny, be destroyed by fire.

    4. Lord, turn my shame into celebration and testimony.

    5. I receive divine lifting and unstoppable progress.

    6. Father, establish the works of my hands for success.

    7. O God, let my life overflow with joy and victory.

    DECLARATION:
I declare in the name of Jesus,
God’s strength is upon my life.
I am crowned with favor and victory.
Every battle against my destiny is defeated.
My prayers shall receive speedy answers.
Joy, honor, and testimonies shall locate me.
I will walk in divine success all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen

  • This week, God used me to give critical advice to a childhood friend going through a severe crisis. Without me even knowing the full gravity of the situation, God used my words to completely calm her down, prevent a terrible tragedy, and save a life. She was able to surrender her heavy situation completely to God (Matthew 11:28). I am so humbled that God can use us as literal life savers when we walk in His wisdom.🏽

  • Many people say, “I believe in God,” but only a few truly surrender their lives to Jesus. Believing that God exists is different from allowing Him to become the Lord of your life. Even demons believe that God is real, but true salvation happens when a person repents, follows Christ, obeys His Word, and carries their cross daily.

The wide road is crowded because many want the blessings of God without surrendering their hearts. Many want comfort without commitment, promises without sacrifice, and heaven without holiness. It is easy to say “I believe,” but it is difficult to die to pride, forgive people who hurt you, remain faithful in trials, and live a life fully dedicated to Jesus.

The narrow path is lonely because not everyone is willing to give up worldly desires for the will of God. Few are willing to stay faithful when nobody notices them. Few are willing to choose prayer over pleasure, purity over temptation, and obedience over popularity. But those who truly give their lives to Jesus will discover a peace, joy, and eternal hope that this world can never offer.

Jesus never said the road would be easy. In fact, He warned that the path to life is narrow and only few find it. Yet even if the journey is hard, it is worth it because at the end of the narrow road is eternal life with Him.

Do not just believe in God from a distance. Surrender your whole life to Jesus. A changed life is the true evidence of genuine faith. The world is full of believers, but Heaven is looking for followers who are fully surrendered to Christ.

  • Your number one greatest enemy is not always other people… sometimes it is your own lust.
This battle is invisible to the eyes, but we fight it every single day in our minds, emotions, and hidden desires of the flesh. Lust is not only about sexual sin—it can also be greed, impure thoughts, selfish desires, addictions, and anything that slowly pulls us away from God.

That is why human strength alone is not enough to defeat it.
We need the power of the Holy Spirit.

    The Bible says:
“Walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16

And these are the four spiritual weapons that can help us defeat lust:

    Bible Reading
Because the Word of God cleanses and renews the mind. When your mind is filled with God’s truth, there is less room for sinful desires.

    Praise and Worship
Impurity struggles to stay in a heart that genuinely worships God. Worship invites His presence and strengthens the spirit.

    Prayer
Prayer is not weakness—it is connection with God. In every temptation, you can run to Him and receive strength.

    Fasting
Fasting teaches us to discipline the flesh and submit it to God’s will. When the spirit becomes stronger, the flesh becomes weaker.

Do not be discouraged if you are struggling right now.
What matters is that you keep fighting and keep coming back to God.
God is not looking for perfect people—He is looking for hearts willing to surrender and rise again.

No matter how strong the temptation is, God’s grace is still greater.
And through Christ, you are not a slave to lust anymore…
you can become victorious through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • Sometimes people think purity, faithfulness, and true love are impossible to find in this generation. Many hearts have been chained by pain, betrayal, temptation, and disappointment. Some have already given up, believing that no one stays loyal anymore, no one waits anymore, and no one values what is holy anymore.

But God is still able to protect what the world tries to destroy.

The dress in chains is like a heart that has been guarded through prayer, patience, and obedience to God. While the world says, “Follow your desires,” God says, “Guard your heart.” While many rush into temporary relationships, God prepares a love that is pure, peaceful, and lasting.

The beautiful thing is this: when the right time comes, Jesus Himself knows how to unlock every fear, every wound, and every waiting season. He does not destroy purity — He honors it. He does not shame waiting — He rewards it.

Never be ashamed for choosing holiness in a corrupted world. Never feel weak for saying no to sin. Staying faithful to God may feel lonely now, but one day you will realize that obedience saved you from many tears.

God is not late in writing your love story. He is protecting you from what could break you and preparing you for what will bless you.

Some people laugh at those who wait on God, but they do not understand that a relationship built with Christ at the center is stronger than feelings, stronger than temptation, and stronger than time.

So if you are still waiting, keep praying. If you are healing, keep trusting. If you are guarding your purity, keep standing firm.

Because what God protects, no devil can destroy.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23

  • Some days you will feel strong.
Some days you will feel tired, discouraged, and unmotivated.
But success was never built on emotions alone.
Growth happens when you continue even when your feelings tell you to stop.

Discipline is choosing to keep climbing while carrying heavy burdens.
Faith is trusting that every painful step still has a purpose.
And perseverance is moving forward even when nobody sees your struggle.

The world teaches people to follow their feelings,
but dreams are fulfilled by people who follow their purpose.
    Your mood changes.
    Your situation changes.
Even people around you may change.
But the plan God placed in your heart is still worth pursuing.

    Keep praying.
    Keep working.
    Keep improving.
    Keep showing up.

Because one day, the same mountain that made you struggle
will become the testimony of how far God has brought you.

“Follow the plan, not your mood.”

  • Some people only stay close while everything is beneficial to them. They enjoy your kindness, your generosity, your patience, and your soft heart. But not everyone who smiles with you truly values you. That is why wisdom matters. Even Jesus showed love to everyone, yet He also knew when to walk away, when to stay silent, and when to guard His peace.
A lemon may not be the sweetest fruit, yet worms rarely stay there. In the same way, being overly sweet to toxic people can sometimes invite abuse, manipulation, and disrespect. God did not call us to become bitter, but He also did not call us to be foolish. We are commanded to love, but love must walk together with discernment.
The Bible says in Matthew 10:16, “Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Kindness is powerful when guided by wisdom. You can have a pure heart without allowing people to take advantage of you. You can forgive without reopening doors that God already closed. You can help others without destroying yourself in the process.
Not everyone deserves unlimited access to your life. Some people only come near when they can consume your peace, your energy, or your blessings. Protect the heart God gave you. Stay humble, stay loving, but stay wise. The right people will appreciate your goodness instead of exploiting it.
Godly kindness is not weakness. It is strength under the guidance of God.

Take a moment to pause and think about how good God has been throughout your life. There is no end to His goodness!

  • THE FRUIT OF HIDDEN ANGER

    1. It Destroys Spiritual Joy

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” — Proverbs 17:22

When a person hides anger in their heart, it slowly drains their joy. It becomes hard to smile, hard to worship, and hard to rejoice in the presence of God. Hidden anger is like a silent sickness that eats away at one’s spiritual life.

    2. It Makes Our Words and Behavior Bitter

“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” — Matthew 12:34

If there is anger stored in the heart, it will eventually manifest through words. A person becomes harsh, easily irritated, and quick to hurt others. Hidden anger produces bitterness that becomes visible in our speech and actions.

    3. It Damages Relationships with Others

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger… be put away from you.” — Ephesians 4:31

No relationship can grow strong when there is unresolved anger. Trust slowly fades, unity breaks, and friendships weaken. Hidden anger separates hearts that were meant to stay united.

    4. It Hinders Prayer and Blessings

“When ye stand praying, forgive…” — Mark 11:25

God is a God of forgiveness. When we hold onto anger, it becomes a barrier between us and God. It’s not that God does not want to bless us, but we have allowed something to block the flow of His blessings.

Hidden anger is like a fire—silent yet destructive. It destroys the heart, then relationships, and eventually our spiritual life. This is not God’s will for His children. His desire is a clean heart, a peaceful mind, and a joyful spirit.

  • Preaching is not meant to entertain people or please emotions, it is meant to deliver God’s truth and bring correction to the heart. True preaching convicts, rebukes, and guides believers toward righteousness. While it may not always be comfortable, it produces spiritual growth and leads people closer to God.

    2 Timothy 4:2
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

    2 Timothy 3:16
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

  • I come before You this Monday, Lord, surrendering my plans to Your sovereign design, for You are my refuge and strength; I will not fear, for You are with me. Psalm 46:1-2 I fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, asking for Your Spirit to renew my mind and align my steps with Your will, so that every word, every action, and every thought bring glory to Your name. Romans 12:2

Teach me to walk in Your peace, to guard my heart with faith, and to overflow with hope as I face the week ahead. Cast out anxiety with Your perfect love, and grant me boldness to witness, compassion to serve, and grace to forgive as I am forgiven. Philippians 4:6-7 I cling to the promise that apart from You I can do nothing, yet through You I can do all things, because You strengthen me. John 15:5 In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.🏾

  • A TESTIMONY OF DELIVERANCE, TRANSFORMATION, AND FREEDOM

    Amen.

  • Be Teachable. Be Empty. Be Filled by God.
In a world full of pride, noise, and self-importance, it’s easy to think we already know enough. We protect our opinions, defend our ways, and close our hearts to correction. But the truth is—God cannot pour into a vessel that is already full.
A teachable heart is a humble heart.
It is a heart that listens, receives, and is willing to change.
The woman on the left represents a life surrendered—open, peaceful, and ready to receive. She does not resist the hand above her. She allows herself to be filled, refreshed, and guided. This is what it means to walk with God—trusting His ways more than your own.
But the other side shows a different story—resistance, pride, and self-sufficiency. A heart that says, “I know better,” will always struggle to receive what God wants to give.
God is always ready to pour—His wisdom, His peace, His direction, His grace.
But the question is: Are you empty enough to receive it?
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6
    Today, choose humility.
    Choose to listen.
    Choose to be teachable.
Because when you empty yourself of pride…
God will fill you with purpose.
Be Teachable. Be Empty. Be Filled by God. In a world full of pride, noise, and self-importance, it’s easy to think we already know enough. • A TESTIMONY OF DELIVERANCE, TRANSFORMATION, AND FREEDOM

    Amen.

  • ‎Many people today claim to belong to the church of Christ, yet their lives continue in vices, sins, and worldly practices. This raises an important question: Is it truly the church of Christ if the members continue living in sin without repentance? The Bible teaches us that a person’s true identity and spiritual condition are revealed by the fruits they bear in their life.
‎Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7:16, “You will know them by their fruits.” Just as a tree is recognized by the kind of fruit it produces, a believer is recognized by the kind of life he or she lives. A good tree produces good fruit, while a bad tree produces bad fruit. In the same way, a life truly transformed by Christ will show evidence of righteousness, holiness, humility, love, obedience to God’s word, and a sincere desire to turn away from sin.
‎The true church does not encourage people to remain in their sinful ways. Instead, it teaches repentance, transformation, and a new life in Christ. The purpose of the church is not to tolerate sin but to guide people toward spiritual renewal and a life that honors God. When a person truly encounters Christ, there will be change. Old habits are left behind, and a new life begins through the power of God.
‎This does not mean believers are perfect, but it means they strive to live according to God’s will. They continually repent, grow spiritually, and seek to bear good fruits that reflect the character of Christ. The gospel calls people not only to believe but also to be transformed.
‎Let us examine our lives honestly. What kind of fruit are we producing? Are our actions reflecting the teachings of Christ? Our lives should testify that we belong to Him. May we always seek to live in a way that glorifies God and reflects the true transformation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

  • “When nations fight with weapons, Christians fight with prayer.”

While the world responds to conflict with weapons, believers respond with prayer. Christians understand that the greatest battles are spiritual, not just physical. Prayer invites God’s power, wisdom, and peace into situations that human strength cannot solve. Instead of trusting in violence or human power, Christians trust in God, seeking His intervention, guidance, and mercy for the world.

    2 Corinthians 10:4
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.”

    1 Timothy 2:1-2
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” 🏿
