Good morning, brethren.
1. Morning devotion for today.
i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 2026.
"IF YOU RUSH, YOU MUST REST"
‘…Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile…’ Mark 6:31 NLT
MARK RECORDS, ‘Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and His apostles didn’t even have time to eat.’ No one had a greater assignment than Jesus, and no one was busier: not even you! But He knew the importance of relaxation. He understood the balance between work and rest, which is why He was able to accomplish so much in so little time. The more successful you are, the greater the demands on your time and energy will be. People are wonderful, but they can be draining. As your career and your calling grow, this will only become more so. Renewing yourself will require constant attention. If you don’t do this, you can be sure those around you won’t. Work hard, but play just as enthusiastically. Schedule it. Take one day a week off and totally relax. Focus on something other than your job. If you do that your mind will be clearer, you’ll make better decisions, you’ll see life through different eyes, and you’ll accomplish far more. Stop and answer these questions: How often do you actually schedule time for rest and relaxation? What do you do to rest your mind at work? At home? If you had one full day all to yourself, what would you do? If you struggle to answer those questions then you need to pray, ‘Lord, teach me how to rest. Show me how I can turn towards You and be restored and renewed’.

ii. DAILY REPENTANCE
"He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins." - Luke 3:3
Many people have been longing for a while for a spiritual breakthrough in their lives. This is an important desire. I also desire a spiritual breakthrough in our church, in our city, in the Netherlands and throughout the world. If we have this desire, we are like John the Baptist; we are preparing the way for the Lord Jesus to come into our midst with great power and to take our lives under His lordship.
Prepare the way
John prepared the way for the first coming of Jesus Christ. Today God needs such pioneers for a spiritual breakthrough. The path to this is called conversion. Conversion means to turn around, to change your mindset. When you repent, you turn your back on sin and focus on Jesus.
The human nature is selfish. Our own self wants to be honored, lifted high and satisfied at all costs. However, the Holy Spirit wants to reveal love and truth in us. When you convert to Christ, you will be different. Jesus Christ initiates a cleansing and healing process within you. Your attitude towards God and people will change. Your proud attitude will begin to disappear by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Daily
Repentance is needed daily. Every day I dedicate myself to Jesus. Every day my old self has to die more if I want to have a breakthrough in my spiritual life.
The Christians must repent, the Church must repent. 1 Peter 4:17 says: 'For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household.'
Many think that they can polish their own self or improve it. But God wants to renew us. 'If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come' (2 Corinthians 5:17).

2. Morning Prayer for today.
i. Morning Prayer
He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant forever: holy and reverend [is] his name. ⏤ Psalm 111:9
Let us never treat God’s name with less than holy reverence. ⏤ A.W. Tozer
Our Father who are in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. Teach us how to hallow Your name. Show us how holy it is, and how sacred. Even the angels in Heaven speak it in reverent breath. It shines like the sun in its glory. All Your attributes are manifested in Your name. All that You are is in Your name. All the glory of the universe which You have made—is less glorious than is Your name, for You are greater than all Your works.
Hallowed be Your name. Help us to hallow it in our own souls, to hold it as sacred. Teach us to reverence You. Give us a glimpse of Your holy glory, that we may know how to adore Your name in our hearts. Then teach us how to hallow Your name in all our life. May we hallow it in our speech. Let us never speak Your name without love and reverence. May its every mention fill our hearts with holy thoughts of You. We are Your children and we bear Your name. Teach us how to live, so that we shall hallow Your name in ourselves. Let us never dishonor You, by living in any way unworthy of You. May we be holy, as You are holy. May we in our speech, in our conduct, in You whose name we bear. May our light so shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify You, our Father in Heaven.
Then may we have grace to do much in the world to bring honor and glory to Your name. Help us to win others to You, so that in their lives Your name may be hallowed. We are little in Your sight and cannot do much; but may we be enabled, in our own place and manner, to honor You, and to help to bring all the world to say, "Hallowed be Your name." We ask in Jesus Christ. Amen.
