Good morning, brethren.

THE WORD FOR TODAY. SATURDAY, MARCH 28, 2026.
"GOD IS WORKING IT OUT FOR YOU"
‘…God…calls things that are not as though they were.’ Romans 4:17 NIV
YOU MUST believe what God says about you, over what everyone else says! Stop listening to those who claim you’ll never amount to anything. You might’ve had a bad childhood, or a failed marriage or career. ‘…Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before Eunice Gankpe ’ (Philippians 3:13 KJV). The Bible doesn’t say that we call those things which are not as though they are. Nor does it say others have the power to speak things which are not as though they are over your life. No, it is God, through His Word, Who speaks into existence His will for your life. And you should be glad about that. You wouldn’t want anybody else to have power to determine your destiny. Our responsibility is to line up our will with God’s will. When we do, He empowers us to accomplish what normally would be humanly impossible. The Bible says, ‘…The just shall live by faith’ (Romans 1:17 KJV). Your faith is more important than your performance. Yes, when God decrees something, we get to participate in it. But in every case, it’s God who performs it. The thing you’re worried about performing, God says will be done through His power. Will you experience delays and disappointments? Yes, but ultimately you won’t be denied, for God has decreed it. You say, ‘But what about all my unanswered questions or all the loose ends that need to be tied up?’ It’s ‘a done deal’ as far as God’s concerned. ‘All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose’ (Romans 8:28 NKJV). Relax; God is working it out for you.

ii. THE PRIESTHOOD AND THE TABERNACLE
"Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins." - Hebrews 5:1
High priests were important. They were the mediators between God and man. Only the Levites (from the tribe of Levi) were chosen by God to become high priests. High priests were people with the same nature as you and me. This is why they first had to offer a sacrifice for themselves before they could offer sacrifice for others.
Only the Levites were allowed to offer in the tabernacle. It was not because they were holier or more devoted, but because God had arranged it that way. When a high priest died, another replaced him. This happened until Jesus Christ came.
The eternal high priest
Jesus Christ is the only High Priest who did not come and leave; He is the eternal High Priest.
Hebrews 9:11-12 says: 'But when Christ came as high priest… He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.'
This means that Jesus does not need a successor and does not have to offer a sacrifice again. Hebrews 10:14 says that through that one sacrifice, Jesus forever made perfect those who are being made holy.
Jesus did not first have to sacrifice for Himself, because He is perfect, pure and holy. Jesus is the eternal High Priest. All images and symbols, including the other sacrifices, did not have any value anymore when Jesus came. Now every child of God is able to approach God as a priest in the name of Jesus. He is the way (to God), the truth and the life.
In 1 Peter 2:9 it says: 'But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.'

2. Morning Prayer for today.
i. Morning Prayer
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. ⏤ John 15:5
In the light of Christ, our hearts find the strength to shine. ⏤ J.R. Miller
Heavenly Father, as this new day begins, draw us closer to You. Let the light of Your love shine in our hearts and may Your grace fill us like the morning sun. Give us a glimpse of the fullness of life that awaits us in Heaven, so that our hearts may be drawn towards it.
We thank You that eternal life begins here on earth when we receive Jesus as our Lord. Help us to live more fully each day, filled with Your presence. Abide in us, and may we abide in You. Let Your love overflow in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
We ask for grace to be witnesses for Jesus today. In our homes, may we show love, gentleness, and affection as a testimony to Your power. In our work, may we demonstrate diligence, faithfulness, and selflessness. In our friendships, may we be thoughtful, sincere, and kind, showing Christ’s love to all we meet. In every aspect of our lives, may we reflect Your beauty and grace.
We also pray for those whose work takes them into dangerous places today. Keep safe those who travel by sea, those who work on the rails, in mines, and in other hazardous jobs. We pray for our neighbors and friends, the poor, the sick, and those nearing death. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
