Good morning, brethren.

1. Morning devotion for today.

i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. SUNDAY, MARCH 29, 2026.
"DON'T LET REJECTION STOP YOU"
‘…His own received him not.’ John 1:11 KJV

SOMETIMES THE word ‘no’ simply means ‘not now, but ask again’. So don’t let rejection stop you. Only when you see failure as final, are you finally a failure. Take a look at your past experiences. You encountered rejection in school and on the playground. Not everybody liked you, but you made it anyway, right? Jesus experienced more rejection than anybody who ever lived. ‘He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.’ Did He quit? No, He went on to others, to those who discerned His value. ‘But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God’ (v. 12). Someone needs what you have; it is absolutely necessary to their success. Most great salespeople know that 14 out of 15 people will say no. So they hurry and make their presentations to as many as possible, in order to reach that one who will say yes. Jesus said, ‘Whosoever shall not receive you…shake off the dust of your feet’ (Matthew 10:14 KJV). When you encounter rejection, shake it off and move on. Sooner or later you will succeed if you don’t quit. Don’t personalise it; because someone rejects what you have to offer doesn’t mean they’re rejecting you. Paul writes: ‘For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries’ (1 Corinthians 16:9 NKJV). Opportunity and opposition - they go together like macaroni and cheese. Life is not going to hand you success on a silver platter; you’ve got to overcome adversity and outlast the opposition in order to walk through the door. And only two things are required: your faith and God’s favour.

ii. WE ARE AT WAR

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." - Ephesians 6:12

The apostle Paul says that we are at war. If you have to wage war, you should know who your enemy is and how to fight. The reason why so many Christians are losing, is because they fight aimlessly, like a boxer who is beating the air (see 1 Corinthians 9:26).

An ongoing war

I pray for the spiritual eyes of God's children to open to what is going on in the invisible world. There is an ongoing war between God and the evil one, heaven and hell, God's angels and the fallen angels (the demons). We are right in between!

Many Christians think that they have little to do with that struggle and that the evil one only manifests himself in porn, drugs, alcohol, prostitution and occultism. However, Paul says that there are also demonic rulers and powers. These 'generals' or 'top officials' of the evil one are found in places where rulers have the opportunity to exercise their power in political, religious or economic matters.

The evil one pulls out all the stops to achieve antichristian governments. He establishes denominations that look religious, but they reject the essence of the Good News.

The demonic rulers and powers can also be found in educational systems aiming to keep young people away from God, in monetary systems, and in other movements like the New Age. There are also spirits of a lower level, such as perversion, addiction, etc.

How will I overcome?

A) Jesus says: 'But this kind of demon does not go out but by prayer and by going without food.'

B) Identify these spirits. You will know where they come from by their fruit and through the discernment of the Holy Spirit;

C) Rebuke them by the blood of Jesus and in His name.

Dear reader, take your stand. Do not be afraid but be full of the Holy Spirit.

2. Morning Prayer for today.

i. Morning Prayer

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: ⏤ John 11:25

Because He lives, we face tomorrow with hope and joy. ⏤ Charles Wesley

Lord Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, we worship You on this day. You are the resurrection and the life, bringing eternal life and hope to all who believe. Death could not hold You, and You have conquered it, defeating the last enemy.

We rejoice today in the blessings You have given us through Your resurrection. You have faced every power of evil and have triumphed over every enemy. We have nothing to fear, not even death, for You have proven Yourself to be Lord over all, holding the keys to life and death. You will save all who trust in You.

You, who once were dead, now live forever. You are our living Friend and Companion, and we trust in Your help in every need, trial, and danger.

On this Lord’s day, we remember Your victory over death and ask You to lead us into a deeper fellowship with You. May this be a day of victory for us as well, a day where we overcome sin and rise to new life and hope. Help us to conquer earthly desires and enter into new freedom in You. May we experience a renewal of life.

We ask that You bless this Sunday, making it a day of real spiritual growth for us and many others. Bless the churches everywhere. May Your power be with all who preach and teach Your Word today. Help us to open our hearts to receive Your love and the power of Your Holy Spirit. We give all the praise to the Father through You, our Savior. Amen.
