*THE TRUE BREAD OF HEAVEN*
*TEACHING SERIES*
*THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD (Part 6)*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 2 PETER 1:4 (NKJV)*
*“By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature…”*

*Additional Scripture Reading: Romans 10:17; Joshua 1:8; Numbers 23:19; Habakkuk 2:3; Psalm 119:105*

Another vital truth in the ministry of the Word is that as we engage Scripture, we encounter God’s promises, prophetic declarations, and divine principles.

In the Word, God reveals what He has spoken concerning our lives, our families, and our purpose. These promises are not mere words—they are covenant assurances from a faithful God. It is through these promises that our faith is built and sustained, for Scripture declares that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

As we meditate on God’s promises, confidence is established within us. We are strengthened to continue trusting Him regardless of opposition, delays, or difficult seasons.

However, alongside the promises, the Word also reveals principles and instructions. These are the divine pathways we must follow if we are to see the promises come to pass. God does not only declare what He will do—He also shows us how to position ourselves to receive it.

Therefore, the Word provides both:

✓ *The promise* (what God will do), and

✓ *The principle* (how we must walk to see it fulfilled).

When we understand both, we gain clarity and direction. We are no longer walking blindly; we are guided by divine instruction. The Word becomes a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

Child of God, no matter how long it takes, every promise of God will surely come to pass. Scripture assures us that though the vision tarries, it will not delay beyond its appointed time. God is not a man that He should lie—what He has spoken, He will bring to fulfillment.

Therefore, hold firmly to His promises and diligently walk in His principles. As you do so, you will see His Word manifest in your life.

We shall continue next Sunday by God’s grace.
