No way!” the angel said. God said, “And the challenging bit is the three pairs of eyes mothers need. OVERCOME YOUR DISAPPOINTMENTS "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23 Processing disappointments is one of the most important things to enable you to move forward in life. Overcoming them is even better! If you want to move forward in life, it is a must to let go of and overcome the past. Disappointments From time to time, everyone has to deal with disappointment. Even if you had all the faith of the world, there would be moments in your life when the foundation of your faith was shaken, and you were being tested. It is sad to see people abandoning their faith because of this. They stop praying, reading the Bible and going to church. There can be many disappointments on the path of man. You cannot trust anybody anymore, you did not get that promotion; that vacation; that house; that guy or girl. Or even worse: a loved one dies. Do not get stuck Disappointments can ruin your life and destroy your faith. That is why it is so important to learn to cope with disappointments. Many Christians are stuck in the past and never come to a new beginning: they are sad and the old wounds still hurt. Dear people, the Bible says: 'release, and ye shall be released' (Luke 6:37). If you are still grieving over your loss or disappointment after many years, then something is wrong. If you are such a person, it is time to make a decision with God's help and say: 'I will get my life back on track. I do not want to get stuck in the past. No matter how much pain and disappointment I have had, it is time now to put all of this in the hands of God.' The evil one wants nothing more than for you to continue feeling self-pity. God loves you. He has a good future full of hope for you. He does not want you to be unhappy. Morning Prayer Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. ⏤ Psalm 23:5 Let Sunday’s joy fill each weekday, making every day holy in His light. ⏤ J.R. Miller Father, may the light of Sunday shine throughout our entire week. May the blessings of Sunday overflow into the ordinary days, like a fountain that never runs dry, making each day holier, brighter, sweeter, purer, and happier. As we return to our work and responsibilities, help us to be diligent and faithful. We have had our day of rest, and now we hear Your command to work. Save us from laziness and half-heartedness. Whatever we do, may we do it with all our might, knowing that time is short and precious. Help us to make the most of every moment, doing our work with energy and care, all for Your glory. Help us to make this week the best we have ever lived — a week of usefulness, spiritual growth, learning, love, and service to others. We ask You to forgive our sins and to make us more aware of our need for Your cleansing. Let no sin gain control over us. Subdue all evil desires within us. Restore to us the joy of Your salvation. Send us out today as Your messengers, carrying words of comfort and life to others, and doing Your work in the world. Help us to be a blessing to many. Give us a day filled with purpose, and bring us together at its end in peace and love. We ask all this in Jesus' precious name.
