Two Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowlers died this past Saturday. Linebacker Jeff Simeon (who later earned a degree in Christian Apologetics) went home to be with the Lord at 75. Safety Joey Browner passed away at 65. Browner, in particular, was one of my favorite players to watch. His martial arts skills helped him become a more effective tackler. Hopefully, he was saved as well. “whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” (James 4:14)
