*š DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 91*
*DATE:1ST APRIL 2026*
*TOPIC: THE HELP OF GOD THROUGH MEN*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: JEREMIAH 3:15 (NKJV)*
*āAnd I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.ā*
*Devotional Message:*
Yesterday, we established that God responds when we call upon Him in our time of need. However, it is important to understand that one of the primary ways God answers is through people He has positioned around us.
Scripture declares that God gives shepherds after His own heartāmen and women filled with divine knowledge and understandingāto guide and nurture His people. These are vessels through whom God releases wisdom, counsel, and direction.
In Acts 8:26ā35, the Ethiopian eunuch was reading the book of Isaiah but did not understand it. By the leading of the Holy Spirit, Philip was sent to him. Through Philipās guidance, the man gained understanding and encountered Christ. This shows that God not only speaks through His Word but also uses men to bring clarity.
Beloved, God has designed us for fellowship and mutual support. There are moments when we may face strugglesāwhether sin, addiction, confusion, or emotional burdensāand in such times, seeking help from mature believers is both wise and necessary.
The early church demonstrated this principle. When Peter was imprisoned, the church prayed earnestly for him, and God delivered him through an angel (Acts 12:5ā11). His deliverance was connected to the prayers of others.
Many suffer because they choose silence over seeking help. Attempting to carry burdens alone can lead to deeper struggles, including discouragement and isolation. Yet, God has already provided a system of support through the body of Christ.
Scripture assures us that in the multitude of counselors there is safety. Therefore, seeking godly counsel is not a sign of weakness, but a demonstration of wisdom and humility.
As you call upon God, remain open to the help He sends through others. The right counsel can bring direction, healing, and deliverance from situations that may seem overwhelming.
*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the people You have placed in my life as channels of Your wisdom and help. Grant me humility to seek counsel when needed and discernment to recognize those You have sent. Help me to walk in fellowship with others and to receive the guidance You provide through them. In Jesusā name, Amen.
