Good morning, brethren.

THE WORD FOR TODAY. THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2026.
"STOP CONDEMNING YOURSELF"
‘Who is he who condemns...?’ Romans 8:34 NKJV
STOP BEING mad at yourself because you’re still struggling in certain areas. When it comes to an area of your life that needs improvement, be concerned about it, but not consumed with it. You are always going to be working on something, so learn to separate your ‘who’ from your ‘do’. Who you are in Christ is a settled issue. ‘There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus…’ (v. 1 NKJV). Because God has chosen to see you ‘in Christ’, you are always acceptable to Him and you always have access to Him. Your ‘who’ is not based on your ‘do’. Your ‘who’ determines your salvation, your ‘do’ determines your future rewards in heaven. God is not condemning you, you are condemning yourself! God will convict you, and when you repent of sin He will cleanse you, but He will never condemn you. Satan does that. You do that to yourself. But God never will. ‘Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who makes intercession for us’ (v. 34 NKJV). Every time you fail, Christ your advocate offers His atoning blood to cover your sin. As a result, God sees you as ‘accepted’. Stop comparing yourself with somebody else. You are you, and you will never be them. We are all equal in Christ! So when somebody condemns you, stand on this Scripture: ‘Surely the Lord God will help me; who is he who will condemn me? Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; the moth will eat them up’ (Isaiah 50:9 NKJV).

ii. THE CONTENT OF OUR PRAYER
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7
I believe it is important for a Christian to know what the content of a prayer could and should be.
There are people who wonder if they have not been too impertinent or demanding in their prayer. Others just pray aimlessly. A child of God can boldly ask for anything. There should not be limitations for someone who prays. Philippians 4:6 says: 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.' In 1 Peter 5:7 we read: 'Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.'
Talk to God
You can talk to God about your concerns. About the condition of your heart, body and mind. About your shortcomings which depress you. About the nice things, but also about pain and sadness. You may speak to Him about your family, relatives and friends. You can pray to God for your nation or for expansion of His Kingdom on earth.
God is interested in every area of our lives and He wants to lead us. There is not anything too big or too small for Him. God is the Creator of the infinite universe, but also of the smallest creatures.
God's will
The Father's heart is big enough for all our questions. However, spiritual matters should always take precedence over material matters. We do not always get everything we ask for, because God may have a different plan. This is sometimes difficult for us to accept. However, God's plan is always higher and better than our plans. My motto is: 'Whatever God does is good'! His will shall be done in me. Our prayer life is for God to be honored and for His purpose to be fulfilled in our lives. If you keep that in mind, you can ask God for everything. God's Spirit will help you to pray so you know what to ask and not to ask.

2. Morning Prayer for today.
i. Morning Prayer
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ⏤ 2 Corinthians 12:9
Our strength is not in our circumstances, but in His all-sufficient grace. ⏤ Charles Spurgeon
O God, You have kept us safe through the night and brought us to this new morning—seal Your mercy to us with new gifts of grace. We thank You for the rest of the past night and for the blessings that await us today. We are grateful for the provisions You’ve made for our bodies and for the hopes we have as we begin this day. Give us truly thankful hearts, and may we never grieve You by coldness, unfaithfulness, ingratitude, unbelief, or lack of love.
We ask that You prepare us by Your Spirit for all the duties and challenges of this day. We don’t know what this day will bring, nor do we need to. We’d rather leave it all in Your hands, trusting that You will lead us and prepare the way for us. We trust You to take us on the path You’ve chosen for us, rather than trying to choose our own way. Your wisdom is perfect, and we are often foolish and blind. We dare not choose for ourselves.
This day may bring shadows or hardship, but we won’t be afraid. Our path through the gloom will lead to joy and peace. So, we will press on in patient self-denial, accepting the challenges, and not shrinking from any losses. Our blessing lies beyond the hour of trial—our crown lies beyond the cross. Let us not falter in any difficulty.
Help us not to be overcome by the world today. Keep our eyes fixed on our heavenly home, and help us press on toward the glory that awaits us there with You. Hear our prayers, O God, and grant us Your blessing and grace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
