*TOPIC: GOD HAS GONE BEFORE YOU: WALK INTO YOUR VICTORY*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: DEUTERONOMY 1:30 (NKJV)*
*“The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you…”*
*Devotional Message:*
Throughout Scripture, we see a consistent pattern in God’s dealings with His people—He goes before them. With the children of Israel, God did not merely instruct them to move; He went ahead of them to prepare the way and bring them into a place of rest.
This same truth applies to us as believers. In our journey of life and faith, God does not send us into situations unprepared. Before we arrive, He has already gone ahead to make provision and clear the way. Our responsibility is to trust Him and take bold steps forward.
The account of the four lepers illustrates this clearly (2 Kings 7:3–8). In a moment of desperation, they made a decisive choice to move forward. Unknown to them, God had already caused their enemies to flee. Their bold decision positioned them to walk into what God had already prepared.
This teaches us that while God goes ahead of us, we must respond with faith and action. Many believers remain stagnant, not because God has forgotten them, but because of fear and indecision.
David also demonstrated this truth when he faced Goliath. He declared that the battle belonged to the Lord, showing that his confidence was in God, not in his own strength. He acted from a place of assurance, knowing that God had already given him victory.
Beloved, whatever you are facing today, God has already gone ahead of you. The outcome has been settled in your favor. What remains is for you to trust Him, be decisive, and take bold steps of faith.
Do not allow fear to delay your progress. Step forward with confidence, knowing that God is with you and has prepared the way.
*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, I thank You because You go before me and make every crooked path straight. I receive grace to trust You fully and to walk in boldness. Deliver me from fear and indecision, and help me to take steps of faith into what You have prepared for me. I declare that I will walk in the victory You have already secured. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
