*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 97*
*DATE: 7TH APRIL 2026*
*TOPIC: EXPECTATIONS: THE PATHWAY TO MANIFESTATION*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: JOHN 11:40 (NKJV)*
*“Jesus said to her, ‘Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?’”*
*Devotional Message:*

Jesus spoke these words to Martha at a moment when her faith was being tested. Lazarus had been dead for four days, and from a human perspective, the situation seemed beyond recovery. Yet, Jesus redirected her attention to a fundamental requirement for experiencing God’s power—belief.

This reveals a vital spiritual principle: expectation, rooted in faith, is the pathway to manifestation. To truly believe is to live with a sense of expectation, trusting that God is able and willing to intervene.

Many believers approach God without expectation. They pray, attend gatherings, and participate in spiritual activities, yet they do not anticipate a tangible move of God. This lack of expectation often hinders the manifestation of God’s power in their lives.

Scripture teaches that without faith, it is impossible to please God, and that those who come to Him must believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Therefore, expectation is not optional—it is essential.

The woman with the issue of blood approached Jesus with a clear expectation that upon touching His garment, she would be healed—and she received her healing. Likewise, the man at the Beautiful Gate expected to receive something when he looked at Peter and John. Although his expectation was limited, it positioned him to receive a miracle that surpassed what he had anticipated.

These examples show that expectation creates a platform for divine intervention. God responds to faith, and often exceeds what we ask or imagine.

Beloved, examine your heart. How do you approach God—in prayer, in worship, and in His Word? Do you come with expectation, or merely out of routine?

*Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness and Your power to intervene in every situation. I receive grace to approach You with faith and expectation. Remove every form of unbelief from my heart and help me to trust You completely. I declare that I will see Your glory manifested in my life as I believe in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*Daily Bible Reading:*
John 11:17–44, Mark 5:25–34, Acts 3:1–10, Hebrews 11:1–6
