For TESTIFY THURSDAY

My testimony of a time when I thought and wished and God made it happen. One morning I walked into the kitchen to cook myself some food for the rest of the day. I was so tired of cooking for myself. I said in my heart, Oh Lord, I don't want to cook any food. I just, I wish I could have a nice big bowl of salad!! I feel like eating salad.!! I walked out of the kitchen, came to my table and my Bible would always be open on my table. And started to read. About 20 minutes later I receive a call from my bestie she's coming to my side of town and if we could have lunch together!
And so we drove around town only to find our favorite eating places were closed as it was a government holiday. We drove around till we found a place we've never been before, well it was a Subway outlet! Here you can put together your own kind of salad you bet I did! a chicken salad it was such a huge portion I carried half of it home. Well that day I had salad for lunch and dinner!!!! That night saw me emotional in gratitude praising God for indulging me! asking "who am I Lord that you should be so mindful of me?" Psalm 8:4

God Delights to Provide even in the Little Things

Our heavenly Father *really does* see and care for the everyday details of our lives. The quiet wish for ā€œjust a saladā€ may seem trivial, yet the Lord showed me that nothing is too small for His fatherly concern Matthew 6:31-33. Moments like this train our hearts to trust Him for greater needs as well. They reveal God’s character.
ā€œEvery good gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lightsā€ (James 1:17). A ready-made meal or an unexpected salad is a tangible expression of His generosity.

Faith is built up. He hears a quiet sigh in the kitchen, how much more will He sustain us in heavier trials? (Romans 8:32).
