💥When God Feels Far Away: 💥Faith Without Feelings Stiil Counts: 🫱Psalms:42 🫱There are seasons when God feels close - when you know deep down you're loved, truth seems easy to believe, and prayer feels like a real conversation. 🫱And there are seasons when God feels far away. 🫱It's easy to assume that if you don't feel close to God, then you must have done something wrong. I believe that emotional intensity isn't an indicator of spiritual intimacy. Feelings aren't a measure of Faithfulness. 🫱The Psalmist even asks,"why have you forgotten me?". (Psalms 42:9) That question isn't proof of real relationship. You only miss someone you care about. 🫱When you love a person, you may not feel close to them every day, and that's okay. You can choose to stay committed anyway. The same is true with loving God. - you can show up here even in the middle of doubt. - you can whisper a prayer when you're ensure anyone is listening. - you choose not to walk away when it would be easier to disengage. 🫱Your Faith is not fake, because it feels different right now. Today if God feels far, be gentle with yourself. You don't have to force anything. This doesn't mean you've failed. 🫱Closeness with GOD is not something you earn; It's a gift that's promised to you that can't be taken away.. Even on the day when He feels Far, His Love is still wherever you are. 🫱Prayer🫲 God, I don't feel much right now. But I'm still Here. Help Me Trust that You are too. Amen 💝
