*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 106*
*DATE: 16TH APRIL 2026*
*TOPIC: GOD: YOUR STRENGTH IN TIMES OF TROUBLE*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:— PSALM 18:17–18 (NKJV)*
*“He delivered me from my strong enemy… for they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support.”*
*Devotional Message:*
David acknowledges in this passage that the enemies he faced were stronger than him and that they chose the most vulnerable moment—the day of trouble—to attack. This reveals a key spiritual truth: the enemy often strikes when we are weak, discouraged, or overwhelmed.

However, David also declares a greater reality—the LORD was his support.

Beloved, this is our confidence as believers. No matter how intense the battle may be, God is always with us to sustain and deliver us. The enemy may come at a time when you feel weak, but God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness.

Scripture assures us that when we pass through the waters, we will not be overwhelmed, and when we walk through the fire, we will not be burned. God does not always remove us from the situation immediately, but He remains with us in it, ensuring that it does not destroy us.

Daniel in the lions’ den was preserved because God was with him. The three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace were not consumed because God’s presence was with them. Their safety was not in the absence of danger, but in the presence of God.

In the same way, whatever you are facing today—whether in your life, family, career, ministry, or finances—God is with you.

The enemy may know when to attack, but he does not have the final say. Your strength is not in yourself, but in the Lord. Therefore, in moments of weakness, call upon Him. Trust Him. Lean on Him.

*Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, I thank You for being my strength and my support in times of trouble. I acknowledge that I cannot stand on my own, but my strength comes from You. Help me to trust You in every situation and to call upon You in times of need. Strengthen me, uphold me, and carry me through every challenge. I declare that I will not be overwhelmed, for You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*Daily Bible Reading:*
Psalm 18:1–19, Isaiah 43:1–7, Daniel 6:10–23, Daniel 3:16–28
