Good morning, brethren.
Morning devotion for today.
i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. SATURDAY APRIL 18, 2026.
"INSTRUMENT RATED(10)"
‘…I am the Lord that healeth thee.’ Exodus15:26 KJV
INSTRUMENT RATED for sickness. Many a healthy person has been cut down in the prime of life by cancer, heart attack, stroke, or some other debilitating disease. But there’s a way to be ready for this storm, a way not paved with fear, a way that has so prepared you that you can hear the diagnosis of your doctor and still have a sense of God’s peace in your heart. You know what your instrument panel, the Bible, says about it. You know what to do, how to act, and what to say. You’ve been prepared for this moment. Now, if a pilot hasn’t faithfully maintained his aircraft, then it will go down in the storm no matter what his instrument panel tells him. So if you have taken good care of your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit, then you can go to God with confidence, standing on His Word and asking Him to heal you. Eventually we will all die of something, but you don’t have to die before your time. God has promised us ‘long life’ (Psalm 91:16). The Bible says, ‘He… healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “…He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses”’ (Matthew 8:16-17 NKJV). You say, ‘I know some good Christians who prayed for healing, and didn’t get it.’ That’s true. And the most spiritually mature among us can’t explain why. God stamps some things: ‘Will explain later!’ But as long as you’re living, you must stand on the Word of God, which says, ‘I am the Lord that healeth thee’.

ii. THE RED HORSE
"Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword." - Revelation 6:4
You can see that red horse everywhere in the world. This horse with its rider gallops around the earth.
According to this Bible verse the man on this horse knows no mercy. When he comes to a place of peace, he turns it into hell. What he leaves behind is a trail of violence, ruins and war where people slaughter each other because of hate and envy! His ultimate goal is total destruction of man. We know that sin makes the true peace disappear from the heart.
Drastic changes
We, as Christians, should be prepared for the upcoming violence which is actually already seen around us. Wherever peace disappears, drastic changes occur.
It is because people start to think, pray, talk and live differently. Yes, everything changes when the man on the red horse appears.
Yet, there is another side of the coin. And that is good news! We can protect ourselves against the rider and his red horse. It should not make any difference to us! Even if the earth moves from its place, we do not have to be afraid, because no power from hell (not even the red horse) can rob the peace of God from our hearts. We have this peace if we have received forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ, who cleanses from all sins (see 1 John 1:7); and when we are in the will of God.
'Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace' (Colossians 3:15).
We have a wonderful message to preach all over the world; the answer to everything can be found in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace!

2. Morning Prayer for me today.
i. Morning Prayer
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. ⏤ James 1:17
In prayer, it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart. ⏤ John Bunyan
Our Father, breathe on us and give us a morning blessing. We thank You for keeping us through the night. We thank You for the blessings that came to us even while we slept. As a new day has dawned, may new divine light and peace pour into our lives. Fill our path with gladness. We ask You to provide our daily bread today. We don’t ask for luxury—just for what we need. May Your blessing be on everything we receive. We ask for the strength to do our work so we can earn the food we need. Open our eyes so we can see You as the Giver of all the good things we enjoy. Sometimes we forget that these blessings come from Your hand. We think we’ve gotten them by our own efforts. Show us that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and give us grateful hearts.
We want to live cheerfully today. Sometimes we complain and grumble about the little trials that come our way. Forgive us for all our complaining and give us hearts that are always thankful. You’ve promised that You work all things together for good for those who love You. Help us believe this promise, and when we face trials and losses, help us still rejoice, knowing that Your hand will bring good out of every situation. Help us trust You in all things, laying our cares in Your hands and leaving them there without anxiety.
You’ve promised to be with us always. Fulfill that promise for us today. We can’t go out into this new day without Your presence. We ask You to walk beside us, giving us Your protection, guidance, and help. We’ve never traveled this path before, and we can’t find the way on our own. We ask all this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
